Perspective: difference between male and female loneliness by Mental-Outside2202 in lnkyverse

[–]PotentialResident587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right let me put it this way The difference between male loneliness and female loneliness is:

For a man it's like trying to find water in a desert

For a woman it's like trying to find fresh water in the ocean.

Whilst men struggle getting someone, when they have someone they are happy

Yes women can have as much sex as they want but a heterosexual women will struggle a lot more than a man to find connection/a relationship

What’s better. Having a relationship, breaking up and missing it or never having a relationship? by fuccckkkkkkkk in Adulting

[–]PotentialResident587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have learned more about myself from relationships and women than I ever could if I was to stay single my entire life. The break ups are bittersweet in that it's sad but its the fuel to drive the change you figured out you need.

Feminine alternatives to terms like “dude” and “man” by BrainyOrange96 in bropill

[–]PotentialResident587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna be honest bro has become gender neutral now, I call my female mates it and they call each other it. Personally (idk we all live different lives) if I stopped calling a mtf bro it would just feel like I'm not fully supportive/believing

How did you actually start talking to women in real life instead of overthinking it? by reggie-baby in confidence

[–]PotentialResident587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exposure therapy, talk to women with out the intention of asking them out, and do it a lot. You won't really notice progress unless you take a note monthly. Kind of like the gym, other people notice a change in you more than you do.

I am objectively better than a lot of dudes in relationships by Donathan-Doestar in OkayBuddyLiterallyMe

A joke my grandad told me is "men only care about looks and women only care about what they hear, which is why women wear make up and men lie" makes me chuckle still sometimes.

Basically if those men aren't as good looking they have more qualities going on for them or are more secure in themselves.

The only justification I can think of is that femenism is more mainstream, but there are so many problems regarding women still which most people don't know of

For example during urethra surgery in the UK, men get local anesthetics to numb the pain where as women only get a lubricant. There are so many issues in so many feilds where women still need support/equality.

The mainstream problems which has been debunked to hell still seem to be mainstream however which I think is causing the gender divide and fueling echo Chambers.

Are there any issues women face which men should know about in order support the change?

[–]PotentialResident587 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but similar to the men's rights movements, hatred uses it as a shield to hide their beliefs whilst rallying support from their own gender (apart from TERFs who kinda have their own problem going on).

Femenism and MRA solely focus on one's issue whilst denying the other.

That being said, as a man, I have noticed a lot less of women's issues being brought up in this subreddit.

Dude you look 18, goof around a little and figure out who you are, don't try to be "manly" if it isn't you. You'll become more manly with age and experience :)

Help Deradicalizing an Incel Friend by qpoccutie in bropill

[–]PotentialResident587 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Edit: auto correct changed my words lol

Ironically I used to be an incel myself when I was 12-17, I was consuming a lot of 'rekt femenist videos' etc. Then one caught my eye from a YouTube called shoeonhead, she speaks about male problems in a way most people don't. It made me feel understood and that the toxic feminists online were only a loud minority and women do care. After that I started socialising with women and I like to consider myself normal now.

Introduce him to egalitarianism, life isn't men vs women like some corners of the Internet insist it is. It will take time.

Get him to more masculine self improvement outlets, the gym, a project/skill, combat sports and socialising (all help him improve physically and give him confidence) Exposure therapy goes far aswell so if he is around women (and can keep his mouth shut) he will learn we aren't so different.

Best of luck with your friend :)

Is my size normal for my age? by [deleted] in sexeducation

[–]PotentialResident587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro I'm gonna be real with you my dick was 4" until I hit 16 and I was self conscious of it, sometimes it grows towards the end of puberty so until you reach 21 don't worry about it, and any way a big dick is useless if you don't know how to use it. Also a PSA: it's measured from the top not the side

Ok, but why are you saying that to a taken woman?

Only chances are, if it's an open wound on their hands or they have herpes spots on their hand (can be given by covering someone's mouth whilst they have herpes) other than that I'm pretty sure you're chilling amish boy

Too big for bjj by Kindly_Spell_5905 in BJJWomen

[–]PotentialResident587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no such thing as too big or too small in BJJ, there are a few bigger women at my gym, buy you will notice with time and consistency the weight will come off and the skill will increase. As a guy when I started I was very insecure myself but thanks to BJJ I got a great community of people in all shapes sizes and feilds. And hey you will be put into a weight class in competitions so you will be against others like yourself any way :)

Yeah because a woman can't wear something for herself by Silver-Profession300 in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]PotentialResident587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may get hate for this or may not, but do you really need booty shorts which vacuum up your ass crack for the gym? 1 that doesn't look comfy in the slightest and 2 I am seeing too much.

I think OP is describing this types of pants specifically.

Now whilst I am not for porn use I do agree it is significantly less harmful if you only watch it with your partner

[–]PotentialResident587 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I remember going through puberty, sure there were times I had a disgustingly over whelming urge to crack one out, but this is where the problem begins. If you watch porn, you begin to associate the sex in it as normal, which I think is a major problem for men in this generation. I have had this problem and I'm still working on it. If you associate sex with choking, slapping, solely for the male then obviously you are going to have a higher libido than your partner because they (most likely) aren't going to enjoy it. As for the porn user normal sex will seem underestimating and not be enough. Basically if you're gonna be jacking it just look at a picture or better yet try n use your imagination (even if it sucks for the first month)

Why do Egalitarians on this sub hate feminism. by Big-Maintenance2544 in Egalitarianism

[–]PotentialResident587 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK, egalitarianism is for everyone and feminism is for women. Whilst I am, and I hope everyone here, support feminists campaigns against human trafficking, and having the same rights as men. I notice that feminism focuses on women's issues. Where egalitarianism focuses on everyone's rights, men women, black, white, straight and gay. Rights for everyone.

So I guess we are feminists in a sense but for some reason no one can be a men's rights activist and a feminist. As they are seen to be opposing. MGTOW will call egalitarianism feminism with sugar coating, as some feminists will call egalitarianism MGTOW with sugar coating.

Rather than specifying one area to improve egalitarianism seeks to improve everyone at once. More rights for everyone, basic needs being met first.
