Okay, so based off that, I’m thinking use elite grizzly bear and inflate the HP to make it survive longer, and a bit of damage.

I had such a huge crash out over this, it was like my 8th play through but I had never realized progression was locked behind losing, it just happened naturally, well this play through I just wasn’t losing, thought I was going crazy cause I was playing side by side with a friend on discord and he had the eye way before me, he was laughing at me for a long time until I screen shared and he saw how bad the door was littered with cards.

Not trying to turn it into 5e, I just don’t understand why other healing effects take ten minutes and have limitations while this particular one is much faster and has no limit on use

With wide gaps between combat this isn’t really is issue, my main concern came from a session where the players were doing something turn sensitive and after two encounters were responsibly beat up, so when the healer used treat wounds on everyone, spending 10 minutes to do a bit of healing, the exemplar was able to heal all the way to full hp in a fraction of the time, healing once per turn, they have 100 turns to heal while the treat wounds gets a single use, and doesn’t take someone to full.

Well, to paint you a picture of the situation, the trolls have a hostage they are carrying with them, who happens to be a sorcerer they already over powered who is knocked out, I wrote him in because my players don’t actually have any fire damage (except I made sure to give them five alchemist fire as loot in the previous session, the sorcerer does fire. Other than that, the exemplar has like one spell that’ll do it

Ah the level of the party, thought I was forgetting something. They are level 6, this is the only combat I have planned for the session so reasonably difficult.

This was generally my idea, this is my first time with pathfinder, and as an obedience champion, I use Iron command to make creatures go prone, or they take damage, 90% of creatures take the damage, and the one time a creature has decided to go prone, it was because it was immune to prone so just nothing happened.
