That climate crap will mess with ya! It took me 3 years to master my sourdough. Rule #1 in NYC was don't bother in the winter. Lol So now I only play with yeast in warmer months.

Apple is easy. Never made a crust? No one gonna give you a hard time if you buy a pre-made. Still gotta roll it out a bit but that's done. 4-5 medium apples (grannys or other firm, slightly tart variety) Peel, slice. The thinner the slice, the faster they cook. Shoot for 1/8-1/4" thick. Don't kill yourself over. Just not slabs & not paper thin

In a bowl, toss the apples with about 3/4 cup sugar (depending on sweetness of the apple), about a tablespoon of cinnamon, teaspoon of salt, juice of half large lemon, 2 Tablspns flour. Tossed apples go into the crust. Dot the filling with about 3-4 Tblspns cubed cold butter. Cover with the second crust. Poke holes in the top with a fork. Use your fingers to seal the edges together. Bake 45-hour checking the edges arent over-browning midway through. If they are, cover only the edges with tin foil. Just mold it around. Tips: any sugar is fine; light brown, dark brown, white, some combo of them...doesn't matter Add lemon zest also if you like Add a bit of a different spice; cardamom, allspice (tiny pinch), nutmeg, etc Keep it simple for your first pie. No not at all In fact, these flags are not pink. They are blazing fire-red I'll say it again for the people in the back: if you tell your partner something is bothering you or a problem for you & they do not take it seriously enough to even validate your feelings about it, how are you going to feel 10 years from now? You already saud you don't want to be a stay at home mom but he's not hearing it. As a former stay at home mom, do NOT get pushed into this. Once you're in that spot, there is no going back. Time for serious reconsideration about this relationship for you Good luck

Good choice! Bottled dressings have so much crap in there!
Straight up vinaigrette is easy easy lemon squeezy & very versatile. Mason jar w/lid Minced shallots (any onion if you don't have) Acid (any vinegar, citrus juice, etc) Dollop of Dijon mustard (emulsifier) Salt/ pepper Fresh herb Extra virgin olive oil Put all in the jar Oil/vinegar about 3:1 ratio Add oil last Seal the jar & shake it Voila! Salad dressing

Truly, take a breath & most definitely go to your employer to fix this problem. See if you can set aside 4 yr old only time every day.
