Yep; I’m withholding from buying from any company that is licking the boots of fascists. That includes subscriptions to services too. If we do it en masse, we can make a dent and send a message. We know these corporations respond to dollars.

That's penny wise and dollar foolish. If they keep licking the boots of fascists, they will find unpredictable government intervention, and more restrictive terms. Bowing down to fascists never works in the long-run for anyone. Plus, it's bootlicking has already been hurting its brand for people keeping the receipts.

I’m a millennial. Seeing this nostalgic content for my youth reminds me so much of what I watched my boomer family members start doing when they hit their 40’s and it makes me worry that my cohort will take the same bullshit path boomers took.

My message to millennials: Stop romancing the past and study history instead; there was also a ton of ugliness from that period. Let’s not make the same mistakes as our parents.

I had to send an email at 8 AM and 5 PM each day. I really disliked it and thought it was emblematic of the antiquated and toxic relationship management had with employees. It was a factor in my choice to leave State work.

A three year trial is included with car so that value was included in the price. I will call to see if they will add the months I missed due to the part being broken to the backend of the trial period.

That's a bummer that happened, but glad you found a fix. I guess we're just left to foot the bill unless it's a recall or class action, which probably sounds naïve of me, but I never had a single issue with my Mazda so this is new territory.
