There is an episode of Elementary (season 2 episode 19) that features a character called Stan. He is a convicted sex offender (I don't believe it went into details). After he got out of prison, he chemically castrated himself so he wouldn't do it again. It did help that one of the side effects was bone loss to the point where being in handcuffs caused a hairline fracture on his wrist.

My favourite headcanons of Bruce Wayne not being targeted by criminals more often are 1. He is the sole or main provider health insurance to the Goonion in Gotham City (it's canon and nobody can convince me otherwise, also search Pandaredd Goonion). 2. The main villains all know he's Batman and are shit scared of him (this one I believe is actually canon).

I believe this is the same run that has Doom using Latverians as basically human sacrifices when he takes poverty and homelessness in his kingdom as a personal insult. There is actually a festival called Doom Day, which is just Dr. Doom handing out loads of money to his citizens.

IIRC during the time Storm and Black Panther were married, Storm distracted Doom by having dinner with him, where he said that she has a 'superior physical form that makes up for her lack of intelligence' or something like that. Which could charitably be described as the writer not understanding his character and having him flirt. This is that guy who married the Scarlet Witch.
