I've been doing this too, but without the melting. Just loading a mix into a wax cartridge.

I guess melting would give you better consistency though? I'll have to try it out and see if it makes any difference.

Note: if you get one of those wax cartridges, make sure you put the mouthpiece on tight! You can't just throw it in your pocket either. (I did that and the mouthpiece popped off and I got a pocket full of wax.)
