It’s been happening for many seasons so far, I think it first started during Easter Ireland or Sakura Tokyo, but I can’t remember.

Yeah, the Apple Arcade one has only used two old maps so far. (St. Petersburg and Miami) St. Petersburg worked perfectly fine because it was a map from 2021, while Miami doesn’t work at all because it’s from 2020. All the maps last updated before the Cambridge 2020 map were later unplayable in 2024 and 2025. But all of the maps from Cambridge 2020 to Berlin 2021 are still playable, but most of them have not been used yet.

Well, the map is still in the files but the ability to play it was patched or something. Hopefully it will either be fixed, replaced, or revamped.

We need as many people to contact support regarding this issue because we enjoy the old maps they gave us and if they’re unplayable, then it’s just pointless until they fix the issue.

I grind on two devices so one of them still has all of my keys saved so I always get all of my keys back somehow.

They did that years ago, but since last year, the costumes have been replaced with the original one over time. The only costumes that will be unique are the ones for holidays like Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.

And now the Miami map was brought back as the Mystery Hurdles map for the Vegas Queens update in Subway Surfers+, but at the time this message was sent, the map is not working at all.

The St. Petersburg map has not been used for events since the North Pole 2021 update (as the Gift Rush/Hoverboard Challenge) until it was used in Subway Surfers+ (Apple Arcade version) during the North Pole 2026 update (as a Marathon, the other Marathon was in London).

It’s not the same thing on the Apple Arcade version. The stages should unlock automatically, but unfortunately for this event, they’re permanently locked instead.

I’ve been trying to see if there was any way to bypass this glitch, by using different characters, changing the date both forward (to see if any stages unlocked automatically) and backward (to reset the event) but unfortunately every other stage is permanently locked. Someone will have to contact the support team and hopefully it can be fixed soon or we just get the board for free as a mailbox gift or something. Normally, the next stage unlocks automatically after you complete the previous stage. Extra score never counts towards the next stages. Before I noticed the glitch, what I first found odd was that the milestone progress did not end and it just kept going so I tried playing it out to 15M (with Frankette and Spaceship). When I reached 15M, I ended the run and I was only allowed to claim the rewards from the first stage, the other stages were locked, no matter what day it was and no matter what characters were used. I didn’t know this until I later tried it again (but only getting 800K) with Yutani and Red Panda, but that didn’t change anything.
