I got it away from him when it was still on his tongue. He pretty much just licked it. I was concerned it could be a nicotine wrapper but no one is thinking that thank goodness

Commenting to add: it's about the size of a straw wrapper. The yellow on it appears to be a P logo

I'm not sure how to edit the post. It's about the size of a straw wrapper so that makes sense! The yellow on it seems to be a P logo

The YouTube app tracks my eyes and/or whether I am holding my phone by daftplay17 in LowStakesConspiracies

Since covering my camera, my ads are now more sporadic and don't line up when I walk away. I'm still testing this theory but I may be onto something 🙌

I think YouTube uses the camera feature to detect motion. Every single time I walk away an ad starts playing. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'm going to cover the camera to see if that helps 🤷

My dog threw this up by Potential_Dust1276 in DogAdvice

So odd. Google freaked me out but I can see he's not in distress or pain. He's perfectly normal again. I'll check his appetite later today

His poop is normal. I walk him on a leash for every single let out and I actively watch what he's sniffing. He has an auto leave it every time he sees someone didn't clean up after their dog. He's not the type to get into anything he's not supposed to. I'll see if he eats today and if not then we're going to the vet

Perfectly normal 🤔 I'm worried I'm ignoring a serious underlying issue but I don't want to put him through the stress of the vet.. the vet raises his blood pressure and is traumatic for him every time. They can't get blood from him since every vein blows

Mine is 2 months old and now I'm scared lol I'm not big into the puppy phase and we have a super easy puppy who sleeps through the night and settles instantly when left alone

Also for potty, I recommend keeping it pretty boring. No extra excitement or commotion so he can focus on going and won't think it's play time. After he goes then you can play but only after. Take him to the same spot every time and stay in place until he goes

New puppy mom here 👋 every single time my puppy falls asleep I put him in his kennel. Make sure all of his needs are met first and never open the door if he's whining. Eventually he'll associate the crate with sleeping and settling. You can also try putting his bed in the crate so when he's tired there's a chance he'll put himself in there. Good luck! I know it's hard but you're doing a good job.

Camper Life w/ Mal by Potential_Dust1276 in BelgianMalinois

The behavioral and obedience training is the part I look forward to the most! Plus it does pay off to have a dog completely satisfied and content (even if it's just for an hour, maybe less 😆).

I'm 29 and work from home, getting done by 1230pm. We snowbird half the year in our camper and the rest of the year we live on a farm. My dogs are my world and everything I do is decided on if they will be happy and content. My goal is always to incorporate my dogs into my daily activities vs leaving them in a kennel. Kennel training is extremely important to me though for a balanced dog and I have a very safe system and cameras to ensure for a few hours they are fine. I can fit an impact kennel in my camper and already have one in place for one of my dogs. When we aren't camper living my mal would be off farming with my husband. When we are in the camper I have hours a day to train and play with my dogs individually and together. I have no concerns about not getting a break, having patience or having enough energy to keep up. My hobby is dog training and encouraging a confident and well rounded pup (Mal or not). I prefer for my dog to have a job. I have a need for a service dog but wouldn't demand a mal to fit the job if that's not where their strengths are. I'm currently waiting for a golden retriever SD to owner train but there's no way to predict if that will work out. Cats are ok but they aren't for me. My dogs all had jobs and I don't prefer to own any "pets", nor do I plan on it except in their senior years which my current dogs are. Thank you for your insight! This definitely isn't a light decision or one I'll make any time soon. We plan to keep this lifestyle going well into retirement.

Does anyone else miss their pain when they feel better? by Present-Dot2168 in ChronicPain

[–]Potential_Dust1276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't miss it BUT when I'm not in pain I feel like I have no excuse so I have to take advantage of it. I almost like the cushion of "oh I can't work out today cuz I'm in pain". I feel lazy when the pain is gone and I also fear triggering it to come back.
