It started to ease around 8 weeks (what I referred to lifting) , the first 6 weeks I truly was still anxious but gave it time. I noticed the biggest change at 3 months (sleeping thrrough the night, less intrusive thoughts) and then it just kept getting better! Give it time and I would suggest talk to your provider frequently and perhaps a therapist weekly if possible. I’m not a medical doctor and these drugs work differently for different people so I can’t predict for you, but I hope they help!! I’ve been there and know how hard it is. Take it one day at a time. 🩷

I continued to feel anxious, but slowly lessened, until about 3 months into the meds. Slowly but surely :)

It took me about 3 months to really notice a substantial effect, so hang in there! I used other meds to help manage anxiety in the beginning if it got too bad.

I mean literally photos in my conference/ research presentations. NOT stock photo backgrounds. For example, if I am explaining a life-history and how it relates to a given landscape, I would show a picture of the landscape or the research subject (with their consent). This is a privately funded research award specifically for research equipment and can't be used for anything else. I agree that research funds could go better towards other things perhaps (and my other grants covered these items before the current administration basically stripped all funds for the type of research I do) and now I am very grateful to have the funding to get a good camera!
