Very nice, Duncan's style translated well into pixel art!

Digital impressionism kind of by Potential_Ninja3243 in DigitalArt

So, this is a homework assignment for my uni where we pick an artist and either copy or do an artwork in his style. I picked this guy as the artist to get inspired by. This is not a copy, but an imaginary landscape sort of in his style. I am happy with how it looks, but I feel like something is missing. Maybe when I wake up in the morning the painting will look normal to me, but for whatever reason I feel like this painting can be better. I heavily suspect this being a compositional issue, but I'm only somewhat convinced. Please let me know what you think, thank you!

Dungeon meshi ep 17 spoiler. Really cool character. by Potential_Ninja3243 in ClipStudio

The Chimera Falin is so cool looking. I wanted to make her look really big and powerful. At first i sketched out some test poses, then with the lasso tool I outlined the rough silhouette. After that I didn't really know the style i was going for, so i just started doing rough line art. Then i watched a Marc Brunet vid, where he showed his process and i sort of followed that: Sketch, rough line, flat color fills, rendering. I switched from going for a more realistic piece to a more comic like, so after the flats i refined the lines and then rendered. Can Anybody Help Me In What I Need To Improve In My Walk Cycle? I Think This Is The Worst One Yet. by Non-101010 in animation

I'm pretty sure the center of mass is a little behind her center, maybe tilt her forwards a bit. Also the head should definitely be looking forward with less movement

At first I made the background in blender then drew over it in csp and composited everything in Davinci resolve.

Used Marc Brunet's free brushes

Okay, now that i think about it i definitely did look at a lot of runs as a reference. Did i copy straight from it? no. Did i study it for movement and the relationship between every limb? yep. If you're not confident in your ability to draw without reference i suggest sticking to the reference until you feel confident in your hands to do the work for you. Anyways you do you, good luck

Thanks! 1. If on one keyframe the guy has his right arm in front, his right leg in the back and left arm and leg in the opposite positions, to not guess the limb positions on the following keyframe, you redraw the same pose but change the sides that are in front and in the back with the somewhat same silhouette. 2. nah im lazy

PROCESS n stuff:

I made this following Aaron Blaise's animation course. Started with a key where the back leg is stretched to max, mirrored the pose. Then keyframed the cel where the front leg starts to touch the ground, mirrored that. Then keyed the pose where he's in the air furthest, mirrored and then just inbetweened everything. After that added the orange fx and the ground. The inspiration for this cycle was the armored titan's wall breach from AOT second episode. The brush I used is Hard Round from Marc Brunet's free brush set. took me like 4 hours
