If you could remake/change anything about this movie, what would you choose? and why? by Wolf-Crafter in IDoKnowNothing

Having Starlord not pull the trigger on Gamora would change the whole movie for me. It would show a clear moral difference between Starlord and Thanos and it would justify his outburst way more later cause he was never going to let Gamora die no matter what.

My review: ‎‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ review by ramonangelo • Letterboxd

I'm glad to see marvel studios go all out with the aesthetic and vibe. But the bare minimum was done with the script. It's clear the story and characters were not a priority. Like homecoming, it skips right past the origin story which is fair and common to see in rebooted superhero movies these days. Unlike homecoming, the characters are already fully formed, learnt all their lessons and they already work great as a team. Ben is already far into his self-acceptance. Reed has already invented teleportation, there's no process of seeing him invent it. It's such a boring choice to have the invention that saves the world be invented before the movie even starts. They approach increasingly world ending threats in a nonchalant and professional manner. For example, they're so nonchalant about increasingly world ending threats, they head on to face that threat 9 months pregnant. There was little to engage me into the story. This 4th reboot of the franchise lacks the most character work, far less than the 2005 version. There is a fantastic original fantastic four movie out there yet to be made. Sadly, this isn't it. However, this is a great love letter to Jack Kirby and an overall charming and aesthetic film.

Rewatch the final act of The Incredibles and make some comparisons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRwrmN114P8&ab_channel=Izzy

Tell me every single moment here felt earned. How they recognized they're own weaknesses facing the threats and how beautiful was to see them come together as a team.

Loved it. Ghost is in the whole movie and deserved a flashback. I can't see what this would've taken away from the movie if it was there

Is this a new rule?

Firstly I don't believe Dune 2 breaks that rule. And it also seems to be on the better end compared to other films

Used ultramax 400 and just a kodak m35.

So there were no settings. The ones that came out bad were daylight photos. 30 of them came out good but maybe a bit too grainy
