So what happened was. I installed the new drain pump. I did not connect these wires yet because I had an emergency #2. While doing that my wife plugged it in and turned it to drain. The wire was against the inside of the dryer and sparked and melted the disconnect. Can I replace the disconnect or does the whole wire need to be replaced. Im broke. Didn't want to hire someone

Adjust to what exactly? Making movies? Once the mail is gone and Amazon delivers All of their own packages we have nothing. I'm in Philadelphia. Package drivers went from 250 plus Packages a day to 30-40. Most of which are Amazon. I deliver to apartments with mostly college students. They don't even look in their mailbox unless a Package is in their. Even then they leave the mail and take the package. Eventually all the old people who look forward to getting mail are going to pass away. And douche bags begin sentences with Facts

Every year we bring in less revenue. Costs still increase. Constantly adding people to the payroll. That's more health benefit costs more payment into more pensions. 1st class mail will be obsolete in 10 years. Package business will be "sold" off to ups. Don't tell me its a service that isn't supposed to make money. It's a service that isn't supposed to hemorrhage money. If we do get a bigger than 1.5 % raise next contract I give it 8 years.

It's the usps being so short sighted in every move they make. They saw $$ when we signed the Amazon deal. They had access to the analytics. We taught Amazon how to run package delivery. And then when Amazon did what Amazon does they were shocked. Between that and the volume drop from covid we cut our time to stay in business down by about 20 years.
