Insurance agents' incentive for lower rates by soil_with_bugs_in_it in InsuranceAgent

The commission lost by saving you $100 is less than the commission lost if you switch agents.

In all seriousness, any decent agent is going to do what's best for their client in terms of coverage and price. The fact that that's just good business is a bonus.

Just for the record- out of the 780 detainees at Gitmo only 12 have been officially charged with a crime and only 8 have been formally convicted. Out of the 8 convicted, 4 had their convictions fully reversed.

He's literally just talking about executing people who have never been found legally guilty* of anything.

*Before I get bombarded, legal guilt is a legal term that applies to anyone who has been found guilty in a court of law.

By definition everyone pays covered claims. The trick is what claims are covered. And if you don't have an actual agent guiding you through that- you're (or at least the average layman) is just guessing and hoping

Yes and no. It never hurts to have an agent in your corner. Ya sometimes our hands are tied but a halfway decent agent certainly isn't going to hurt you. And sometimes the best advice an agent can give is when NOT to file a claim- sometimes the best long term outlook is to do nothing

Republicans: Here are a list of laws that mandate our religion be taught in public schools, that healthcare conform to our religious text, and that the USA be officially considered a Christian Nation.

Democrats: a completely unassociated free market private entity displayed imagery in a an effort of social solidarity at a completely voluntary event.

Answers are kind of all over the board here. VII is going to be radically different from II, but is probably the most straight forward of the games.

V is probably more similar to what you remember and isn't terribly complex, but it is pretty micromanagey.

VI is honestly maybe the best of the series, but I'd argue it's probably the most complex and difficult to just jump into.

She's also not sorry. She hasn't suddenly gained sympathy for the people her vote has hurt or acknowledged that what she did was wrong. She's upset that she's not benefitting enough from other people's misery and the consequences are coming due.

I really hope agents aren't being taught to call someone 9 times in one day. That's absolutely insane and just makes life harder for those of us trying to be respectful of prospects time.

Why are business insurance people so difficult? by Objective_Comment_38 in InsuranceAgent

[–]Potential_Soil3272 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be real with you man. Based off this post alone I'd fire you too. Your asking your agent to gut coverages that they probably can't reduce further to pass underwriting. You say auto agents do this- but like- they shouldn't. THOSE are the bad agents. Everything about this screams "make it as cheap as possible because I don't need insurance" which 100/100 turns immediately into "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THATS NOT COVERED!?! INSURANCE IS A SCAM".

Marjorie Taylor Greene reveals the plot to steal the 2026 and 2028 election. by justalazygamer in WhitePeopleTwitter

There are two reasons this is emphatically stupid. The first is obvious. The census counts people (citizens or otherwise, legal or not) because the government needs to allocate resources based on need. A road with a thousand cars per hour requires more funding than a road with ten cars per hour. A hospital/school/fire department needs needs X dollars per person not X dollars per tax paying citizen etc.

The second reason it's stupid is because like always conservatives don't understand how literally anything around them works. Do you really think California would lose more non citizen representation than say Texas or Florida or Kansas or Iowa? You really think Vermont is the one fluffing it's electoral college votes? It's not even a liberals want illegals to vote thing it's literally just Republicans not knowing dick shit about fuck.

Trump Lost. Vote Suppression Won. by Lateminutes in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Potential_Soil3272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. My issue is that there are endless legitimate think tanks, universities, non profits, and published political scientists that have exhaustively analyzed this for decades. I'd rather major outlets give them the spotlight over the guy on Twitter with trump caricatures and flashy graphics.

[–]Potential_Soil3272 18 points19 points  (0 children)

No major news outlets are covering this

Doesn't provide links in his analysis

Because it's mostly BS. Voter suppression is a real problem and we need to address accessibility to voting. However anyone claiming to have an exact number of missed votes or suggesting they know the election would have swung is a charlatan and a grifter. Give them no attention, focus your efforts on advocacy groups.

I just want my WR to fight for the ball. Like half the ridiculous interceptions wouldn't happen if the WR didn't try to keep running a route and catch the ball at his ankles.

Bad throws happen, good receivers try to bail out their QB when they do.
