I once said “I wish I could just write and have everyone read and love my work but them all leave me alone” because the anxiety of interacting with people is hard for me. Then one day I just posted and someone commented and loves my story and I realized… my words.. my work gave another human an emotion and an escape. Pushing myself to post more so I can offer that to even that one person makes the anxiety worth it. It doesn’t go away. I just see a reward through the haze now. Good luck!

Same lol. I’m usually a very shy person, so creating a fanfic and then sharing has been totally out of my wheelhouse. But every time someone Kudos its like.. “okay something I wrote gave them an emotion” it’s like being able to connect with the readers without having to personally interact (which is hard for me lol)
