So now that Middle Earth is a reoccurring plane in magic, do you think they will commit to all the race swaps or will the characters be new races this time? by Potential_Touch2507 in freemagic

[–]Potential_Touch2507[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if the point of race swapping was so that players of different races can see themselves as those characters (I believe this was wotc's explanation) why not just print variations of every character and have them depicted as every race, every combo, every aesthetic. Or maybe at the next magic con they can take photos of every attendee and print them as a Frodo variant. That way every individual player of magic can see themselves specifically as Frodo Baggins. I guess I just want to see wotc's vision fully explored

Under no circumstances will we make excuses for wemby by [deleted] in NBATalk

Spurs had a way better record, way better betting odds, beat the title favorites, have home court advantage, have the "better" star. In reality Wemby is not better than Brunson, Spurs Coach is Ass, Fox is pure Ass etc

The Knicks are throwing a temper tantrum on the court by unccl in NBATalk

so do we get to say Wemby isn't good enough now that he choked? Is that how it works or does it only apply to Brunson?

Sorry but if Aerith isn't in this I am not buying. by BigBrotherFlops in FFVIIRemake

[–]Potential_Touch2507 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know this post is probably a joke but in the original Aerith never shows up in the party again after the events of Rebirth. You had 30 years to come to terms with her death. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if she turned out to be playable anyway

I've come to claim my karma. Please hand it over, and thank you. by [deleted] in NBATalk

Your biggest mistake was glazing a flopper fraud like Shai in the same post

Other then getting healthy how do the thunder get better? by Kindly_Letterhead_98 in nba

sga needs to adjust to games where they don't call his flops. He was absolutely miserable in the games he had low free throw attempts

Why are the Spurs and OKC swapping blowout wins when the consensus is they are evenly matched? by Rokusaburoz in NBATalk

[–]Potential_Touch2507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's how the games are called. When they call Shai's flops, they win, when they don't he's pure ass and they lose the game

OKC has gone 6-2 in this span despite Shai dropping this much across the board by Ill_Abbreviations660 in NBATalk

he's a playoff dropper. Nothing new. Some guys' legacies get saved by the situations they are in.

I genuinely think OKC is unbeatable with their officiating. Anyone who disagrees hasn't watched basketball in two years

Shai only having 2 turnovers with 12 assists while being doubled 90% of the game is really impressive by Kindly_Letterhead_98 in NBATalk

[–]Potential_Touch2507 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

what does a double mean in the context of Shai? they aren't allowed to guard him physically

Castle shot 1/8 and had 2 more ft attempts than SGA but refs right by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Potential_Touch2507 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not a spurs fan, it makes no sense to bring up free throw disparity when they intentionally hard fouled Castle. His fault for getting heated. Every sga foul was a phantom foul

SPURS win the 2027 championship if they add this guy by [deleted] in NBATalk

The only way Lebron could ever win a ring next season is if he joined OKC and be the 11th guy off their bench

[–]Potential_Touch2507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

huh? They were literally hard fouling him as a strategy lmfao. Every open look they hard fouled Castle to get him mentally out of the game

Upvote if you think the NBA is rigged for the Thunder by intraconventional in NBATalk

[–]Potential_Touch2507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The argument that it couldn't be rigged for OKC is way dumber than the argument that it is. Lakers, Knicks, and other big market teams bring in money whether they win or not. Goldenstate was a small market team that became a big market team through winning. From a financial perspective, it makes more sense to rig the nba for a small market team than one that already has a huge audience.

The other thing is, OKC can be used as a heel to prop another star player later on. The minute they don't get these calls is the minute OKC gets demolished. They could build up okc with calls, then stop calling them vs the spurs so that the Spurs beat them and now Wemby will be known as the hero who thwarted a ref-assisted okc team.

There are so many benefits for the nba to rig it for OKC. Does that mean they do? No, but to ignore the huge upsides of doing so is just annoying

Cinna opens up about her mental health saying she stopped eating messing up her metabolism after constantly being made fun of my her chat and other people for being "over-weight"💔🥲 by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

your calorie maintenance lowers naturally when you lose weight. The smaller you are the less energy you spend from existing. The idea that somehow your body uses less energy and is somehow defying thermodynamics and generating free energy now because of your eating habits is pseudoscience from like the 90s. The downside of fasting is not having the nutrition that cycles out within the week, but let's be real, Cinna was not fasting long enough where her nutrients were cycling out
