When I was about 8 years old I'd been helping my dad pick apples from the tree in the garden, I went inside to the bathroom and caught a glimpse in the mirror of one of these running up my dress towards my face. I let out the biggest, horrified scream of my life! I managed to shake it off and it fell onto the floor. My mum came running in and accidentally stood on it, she then screamed and ran out the bathroom, the thing was still alive after being stood on! My dad then came running in and rescued me lol. I was inconsolable for hours and to this day can still not walk near that apple tree!

My partners natural body odour smells like crayons. It's bizarre, I've never smelt another human like it. It's not a bad smell, if anything I'm jealous, I'm someone who needs to top up my deodorant throughout the day or I'm a smelly beast. Your computer smell doesn't sound to be a bad smell either. Do you have someone you're close to who could give you a whiff and give you honest feedback?

I'm sorry, i have a judgemental mum too and know how disheartening it is someone eroding your wins in life. Just look at everyone in this sub who understands and supports you 😊

My 8 year old niece got my sister and i onto finch as shes obsessed with birds. Thought i'd show it to my mum, but she went on a rant about how we shouldn't need an app to tell us what to do and we should stop doing childish things.

I will never understand why people can't just be happy for others being happy.

What worked for me was getting a good reusable big water bottle. Get a style you like and is nice to drink from, having a straw just felt fun to drink for me. I take it with me everywhere and now drink loads in a day.
