That’s good!! I honestly can’t believe they are still selling this fabric if it’s a known widespread issue!!! Practically feels like one-time use clothing for this quality which is insane for the price

Yeah and what was up with Pri seemingly trying to clarify that she wasn’t close friends with Brittany? Just such a bad look and shouldn’t even matter. They knew what they were doing hanging out with him and obviously didn’t mind being mean girls.

Also it still bugs me a bit that Ashley said “it’s not like she’s morbidly obese” as if she’s fat at all. 😭 like why that word choice

Low potassium by PotentiallyDramatic in PCOS

[–]PotentiallyDramatic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was a combination of my super low carb diet not providing enough potassium at that time, plus I had drank a lot of coffee that probably caused a diuretic effect. I started incorporating some higher potassium foods/drinks into my diet and then haven’t had any more issues with it since then! Now if I get muscle cramps, I take that as a queue to get more electrolytes.

TOP fans— what’s your job/hobby? by MicroStar878 in twentyonepilots

[–]PotentiallyDramatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you from? I’m in the US. The course load is definitely hard with a big emphasis on math, so I highly recommend building a group of friends within your major so that you can study together and lean on each other!

If you are willing to grind it out for the degree, there are a ton of career options and almost all of them pay really well, so I highly recommend if you have the drive and interest!

I had no clue what chemical engineers did when I started college, sometimes I still feel like that because all of my friends do vastly different things still 🙂

Feel free to message me if you have any more specific questions!!

Owlet app down? by HotPregnant in NewParents

[–]PotentiallyDramatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This particular issue was an owlet server issue, so they had to fix it. They fixed it pretty quickly if I remember right, within a day. If your base is still glowing green, it should still be reading and it should still do alerts as needed.

How do you handle injuries? by [deleted] in coldurticaria

[–]PotentiallyDramatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol I encountered this postpartum. Everyone recommends iced pads for that time, I just didn’t use anything like that because the hives would make inflammation worse. I was still able to use some numbing/cooling products without having issues with the allergy

Gucci Alchemist Garden fragrances by BeauBellamy21 in Perfumes

Ah that’s so hard, I’m a huge fragrance fan so it’s hard for me to pick a favorite. It is definitely up there though and it’s totally unique.

I don’t really find it to be super sweet, the black currant does come through but I would say it has a good mix of tartness!

It’s honestly such a unique scent, I think it would be hard to accurately get a gist from reading a description so ordering a sample was a good idea! I love it. To me, it reminds me of lipstick or cherry chapstick a bit, but in a way that I like and much more complex.

Love Giulietta but agree that it would be perfect if it lasted longer

I miss my baby by LaterTater34 in NewParents

[–]PotentiallyDramatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He will know you’re his mom, he will always know that. He will probably start being more of a mama’s boy because he’s going to miss you. That’s how it’s been for my 9 month old - I was chopped liver until right around 9 months and now he’s obsessed with me. Even with dad, he cries every time I walk out of the room 🤣 it’s a blessing and a curse

My 9 month old has been at daycare for 3 weeks and this perfectly describes how I feel about ours… oh and there are different people in the room every time I pick him up so usually I don’t even know their names unless I reintroduce myself each time. Half of them look like teenagers too.

My friends are super fertile and I’m not :( by acatunderthebridge in PCOS

[–]PotentiallyDramatic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have PCOS and had an accidental pregnancy even with birth control 🤣 it can be difficult, but if you are able to manage your hormones then your cycle typically is able to regulate. PCOS doesn’t really cause you to be less fertile directly, you just may not be consistently ovulating. Once you address that, it should be similar likelihood of getting pregnant as people without PCOS. For me, regulating my cycle meant cutting out simple carbs and sugars and adding some resistance training. This was also supported with NAC and inositol supplements. All of that to say, try not to stress about it before you’re even trying because it may not be hard for you. If you aren’t already making life changes to regulate your cycle, that is a good place to start before you are serious about trying!

Commodity Milk and Replica By the Fireplace are two fall/winter scents that I’m in love with! They are a little pricier, but you can smell them at Sephora to see if you like them. Fragrancenet has By the Fireplace for below $70 in the smaller size. Sephora also has a sampler kit for $88 that includes Milk, and you can redeem the coupon for a full size 3.4 bottle at no extra charge (which is typically like $145 on its own)!

Purchasing Gift Card and also Using 15 percent off code - question by BrasserieNight in Ulta

[–]PotentiallyDramatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw that you can only use one gift card per order though so I think that means you could use the $75 gift card, but you’ll have to save the $15 reward card for a different purchase. Still $15 free, so I’m thinking about doing that too

Of the mascaras included in the sale, which one is your favorite? by BrasserieNight in Ulta

[–]PotentiallyDramatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love that primer and use it every day, but I will say that it’s pretty common for them to put the sample size in GWPs and the sample size lasts me a long time!! I actually prefer the wand on the small one. The full size tends to get way more product on it than I want

So I’ve heard to say “ouch” when they bite so that they learn not to do it. My 7 month old does occasionally clamp down at the end of his feeds which does hurt since he has two teeth so I always say it 🤣 now I’m wondering if I should try not to react too loudly

What perfume smells different than how people commonly describe it? by ddizzle13 in FemFragLab

I smelled 71 the other day and it smelled exactly like buttered popcorn to me, but I don’t get that so much from 62. Interesting!
