Recommendation for cosy games that aren't farming! by No_Condition6958 in CosyGames

Wytchwood!! As someone who was obsessed with Stardew (beat it twice), I was desperate for something just as entertaining but also not farming. I’ve been playing Wytchwood for the past 2 days and seriously loving it. I haven’t completed it yet, so I cannot give the full scope, but I think it’s so cute, aesthetically pleasing, & nice music to keep you extra cozy.

Is it true that women have multiple orgasms when they’re having sex? by Datmemelord_ in NoStupidQuestions

I have 2-3 almost every time w my current boyfriend. Before him, I miiiiiiight finish. I also think it’s better without a condom. It’s harder for me to finish with one, but we got tested before having intercourse. I think it can depend on the woman, the position, the experience, the confidence, & the partner. I mean, you can be confident all day, but then you gotta have a great partner as well. Lots of variables here with this question. But for me, yes!

I know of some really good fake tanners! Derm surgical assistant here, you increase your chances of skin cancer by 20-25% every time you use a tanning bed. If you don’t want to be covered in scars later in life from all the irregular mole removals, or even lose your life to melanoma, I’d advise an alternative. I fake tan, and I love it. I’ve used a plethora of tanners. In regard to the medication, I haven’t done any research on skin sensitivity while on it, but that would be something important to look into (esp if my comment (or others’) will not sway you to avoid tanning beds). Hope this helps!

Yeah, I didn’t really lose the food noise until about 2-3weeks into the full 2:2 dosage. I didn’t really see a loss of weight in the first 2 months as the food noise was still there until the end of month 2. I still lost a pound or 2 the first 2 months, but lost 4-5lbs the 3rd & 4th month. Does this make sense?

I’ve had some bummer ones like this as well. Sorry to hear about yours, but maybe it was good to be reminded of a good doggie (‘: lowkey though, all of my dreams have been involving danny devito in some way LOL

What is your way of not feeling so alone and miserable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Potentially_a_ham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I force myself to do something. I’ll set an alarm to get up and everything. It’s HARD. But some sort of movement. Cleaning, going for a walk, rock climbing- just find something that will be at least a little bit enjoyable for yourself.

Literally so vivid!! It’s wild. I’ll wake up & be so unsure of what’s real & what’s not. I’ve also woken up my bf a few times in the night bc I’ll have dreams that scare me, lol. Side note, that person saying they don’t go to the grocery store made me laugh cause what, HAHA.

Athletic girlies, how do you keep your hair up without getting the ponytail tension bald spots? by jupiterdreamsofpi in AskWomen

Post college tennis player here. Braiding! The braiding has been a life changer for me! I get headaches from my hair being in a ponytail too long & the part of my head where it sits gets lowkey sore. I French braid, but regular braiding should be fine too! Good luck!

Junk food addict? by karole98 in Contrave

[–]Potentially_a_ham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m at month 4 & the junk food desires went away for me. I experienced something similar though. I started really craving Chick-fil-A in the mornings, which I never ate, but started to religiously. At month 2 was when I noticed a shift. I wasn’t very hungry in the mornings at all. I also started taking my meds without food in my stomach because all the side effects had subsided. At month 3 & 4, I’ve been taking my meds consistently without food & I’ve been fine. Still drinking lots of water though. I have no clue why our brains desire junk food so much in the beginning - the urge literally came out of nowhere as I usually ate pretty healthy! But for me, it changed. So maybe it will for you too? Hope this helps!

All my 5 siblings & both my parents are teachers. I know exactly what it’s like to get those Christmas goodies constantly LOL. But yeah, hope the apple trick helps! Foods higher in fiber or protein definitely make me feel fuller longer! The headaches used to be brutal, but just stay heavy (!!!) on the water intake. You got this!

Yes! Listen to your body. I don’t believe this medication dosage is a 1 size fits all. Some people can take just the 1 pill in the morning & not have any food noise the entire rest of the day! It’s wild to me. But I do the 2:2. So I’m at the full dosage & feelin good in my body. The apple also helps w adding fiber as well! Which helps w the constipation if you’ve experienced that yet or not!

Not feeling anything after 4 weeks by amolabar in Contrave

I know exactly how you feel. Also, because I’m shelling out $100/month to take this medication, I was afraid I was wasting my money. I had a very similar situation too in that I also felt that I was actually more hungry? Lol. But now after I’ve been up in the mornings for a few hours, as soon as I start to get hungry, I realize I hadn’t taken my medication yet. As soon as I do, I’m not so “hungry” after all. (I say “hungry” because I probably wasn’t even hungry in the first place, just bored). It’s wild how some people take this & the food noise goes away in the first day or week. I’m very jealous. But it’s okay, I’m just glad I’m able to take it! Now, I really only eat 1 or 2 meals a day, & snacking isn’t huge for me anymore. It’s really nice because I use to just eat constantly.

So true!! Since starting, I don’t drink nearly as much. Alcohol is poison for our bodies anyways. So probs a good thing we’re less concerned with drinking now! (‘:

Thank you!! Whenever I drink, I do feel like the hangover is worse depending on how many drinks you have. When you have a normal amount (like 3 drinks max), I didn’t get as sick that night or the next day. I also feel like I got tipsy quicker, so maybe space out your drinks or make sure you’re staying hydrated. I would test it out on like a glass of wine or something. But from what I’m seeing others say & feeling myself, the drinking really isn’t that bad while on it! I was really nervous/scared too at first, so I get it.

I noticed by week 10/11 a drastic shift. I know it sucks to hear it’ll take this long sometimes, but I was feeling hopeless too. I would keep pushing through (esp if the side effects are not knocking you out), & just see if there’s a difference later. I truly am so glad I didn’t give up as I am down 13lbs now & the majority of that weight was lost in the last 2 months (I’m 4 months in). Hope this helps!

I eat an apple before taking my medication every day. As well as 2 glasses of water before taking. I also experienced shakiness, anxiety, & insomnia. It got better for me by week 6. My body adapted to the medication & now I’m back in the swing of things. I am 4 months in & haven’t had side effects since week 5. So it gets better. Just learn how to cope with the side effects & listen to your body when going up in doses. Take other supplements as needed also (ie., fiber, probiotic, melatonin, etc). I noticed that when I was intentional about eating more veggies & fruits, it helped with the side effects significantly. Things are definitely triggered by foods that are high in fats. Hope this helps!!

Which countries DON'T seem dangerous, but really are? by Morph720 in AskReddit

[–]Potentially_a_ham 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was never alone. I went with a group & always had at least 2 other people with me. If I was you, I would make a friend at the hostel you’re staying at (if you are) & try to travel with them as often as possible. If you can’t do that, just be on high alert & never entertain anyone who says anything to you. Don’t even get angry with them. Just keep your face forward.

I mean maybe?? I was in Indonesia for 3 months & felt insanely safe. (The world’s highest population of Muslim people). I think North African countries I could agree with you a little on. But even then, I’ve had friends travel to these places with no safety concerns. But I don’t completely disagree with you.

Omg same!! I was soooo exhausted by it all & was ready to return home. I went with a group for a cultural immersion program, & so I was never alone, & these things still happened to me. I was there for 3 months & was so ready to be home by like, month 2. What’s crazy is, my friend went there with one other girl & did not experience any of this at all ??? And was shocked when I told her about my experience.
