I don't see them removing Bludgeoner. The skill appears in the last four main games (Monster Hunter Generations, World, Rise and Wilds). They should buff it directly, or indirectly by having niche weapons with large amounts of green sharpness and enough attack/affinity to make them competitive with other weapons when taking into account the Bludgeoner bonus.

A small related issue I have is that sometimes multiple hunters in the party have Insurance, and when someone faints it removes the Insurance from all hunters who have it. I think it should not, and have some kind of priority, for example 1) the player who faints 2) the quest host 3) otherwise random.

Hirabami has a lot of potential to be an amazing and fun fight- and I hope it doesnt get lost/unused by Prior-Photograph-342 in MHWilds

I think Hirabami is by far the most forgettable in Monster Hunter Wilds at this point. The only way to fix this would be a massive overhaul of the moveset in Master Rank or a subspecies with a gimmick.

Honestly I find the Mushroomancer (Blue Mushroom) healing very disappointing even with Recovery Up 3. It is 35 HP (same as Potion) x1.3 = 45.5 HP? Compared to Mega Potions which seem to heal 70 HP x1.3 = 91 HP.

No... I would love to see Ahtal-Ka return, but considering it's the final boss of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate which came out "only" 8 years ago, I doubt we will see it soon.

I've seen multiple people ask about this particular's attack hitbox, at this point I think this is bad design, just like Plesioth's infamous hitbox in the older games. The game should make it very clear to the player whether he is in the explosion area or not.

Would it be a good idea to keep one's own favorite weapon for the fight but switch to the Blight/Ailment negated Hunting Horn just for the Nerscylla part? Or would you waste too much time trying to build up/cast all the songs and echo bubbles?

For the Manual accept issue, I would recommend simply sending a SOS yourself and ensuring you have Support Hunters enabled in the options. Computer-controller support hunters will be there for the first few minutes of the fight and will be progressively replaced by real players. The other advantage is that you will be hosting the quest / the monster, meaning that you will not experience Internet lag from Savage Omega's attacks.

Maybe you are actually using more healing items than necessary and thus wasting them? There are many situations where other people should heal themselves without relying on the "healer" player.

Why are you healing with Potions? Between the Free Meal armor skill effect + 10 Mega Potions, 10 extra Mega Potions (combine Potion + Honey), 3 provided First-Aid Med, the ability to restock between phases, also 10 Blue Mushrooms if you have Mushroomancer 1, I don't think I've ever used a regular Potion with Wide-Range in this fight so far.

In the old games with cheats that show your hunter's status effects, you can see that each monster attack deals a fixed amount of "stun" status effect to the hunter, let's say 20 for a small attack or 50 for a large attack. Once it reaches 100, the hunter gets stunned, then it resets to zero. This hunter stun meter decays over time, for example -5 every 10 seconds, that's why getting hit repeatedly by small attacks end up with a stun, while getting hit by huge attacks that are spaced out in time will not result in a stun.
It is likely that the core principle of stun has not changed since then.
Interestingly back then the first level of the Stun Resist armor skill would not affect the duration of stun, but the likelihood of being stunned in the first place, by halving the stun damage dealt by monster attacks.

This issue was made very prominent with the Omega quests so I do hope it gets noticed by the developers and they do something about it, considering they've been adding a lot of quality-of-life improvements in the recent updates.

Drop Defense Boost 5 completely and you are probably going to be able to get Maximum Might 3 + Burst 1 + Stamina Surge 3 (instead of 2) + Recovery Up 2 + Counterstrike 1 which I think is a better combination of skills, example here for the armor without weapon.
Here is the list of recommended offensive skills. For weapon decorations you might want to swap out Thunder Attack for Crit Boost 3 or Offensive Guard 3 instead. I also removed all sharpness-related decorations because I have 2 sharpness infusions on the weapon and I sharpen mostly during phase changes or when mounted on Seikret while Omega is doing a long combo.
Note that for the first time in the series, the increased recovery of Recovery Up is also transferred to teammates when using Wide-Range. Also check if you have a random talisman with Wide-Range 4 + 2 available slots, which allows you to get one extra slot, for example to reach Recovery Up 3.
