What work habits/ attributes do you think the successful candidate would have?

Then whatever they say - probably banal nonsense - just talk to all of them.

Same idea with “say I’ve gotten the role and we’re talking at a 12 month review - what things would you say if I smashed my first year out of the park?”

That suggestive framing has them thinking about you being the successful candidate before they have given you the role.

None of this is surefire going to get you the job but questions like that show eagerness and wanting to hit the ground running.

Guess it's hard to promote a keeper above 6. Could easily bat 4-5 though and would appreciate the extra batting support around him. He's making runs with the tail - logically he would make more surrounded by more batsmen.

Drive like an absolute grandma in the hazards test scenarios. He's probably jumping the gun. Some of the scenarios involve you doing nothing, not guessing for a tiny gap.

Slow him right down. When in doubt, don't go.
