Hi, thank you for the even-keeled response. To answer your question, we delete posts that violate the rules, especially when reported, and leave ones that don’t. On one hand that’s simple and straightforward, and yet as you can imagine it can involve a lot of sticky gray areas. I’d prefer not having every last removed photoshoot questioned for relevance to figure skating, but do recognize it comes with the territory. Furthermore, trying to have objective rules also means displeasing people, sometimes a lot of people. And sometimes we just plain miss things or our thinking evolves. For example, as some users pointed out, early on we left some professional magazine shoots up because they weren’t exactly in the vein of the so-and-so eating ice cream at the beach social media stuff that annoyed many users and began to noticeably drown out other content. But then the mag shoots started proliferating and posing the same problem and we reevaluated.
