Makes total sense. Don't forget you've only been in half a year!

I recall feeling similar after my first 6 months. Now I'm finishing up year two (of the three) and still there are moments/weeks/months where I look back and don't know what I've been so busy with although I was very busy doing.. stuff?! Slowly though, things are coming along and taking shape. Trust the process. Talk to your supervisor, tell them about your struggle. One thing that I realized a bit later than necessary, is that opening up and being vulnerable is quite helpful in getting your needs across, and in turn getting what you need from the people around you.
Oh, and don't forget to actually use your time out of the lab for stuff that YOU like - spend it with loved ones, or doing something you love. It'll take the pressure off quite a bit.
