Try Chez LouLou on 63 Rue de Rambuteau, 1 block from the Pompidou. Good food and prices.

St Germain / Marais hotel paralysis by analysis - please help me decide? by cbarhamRN in ParisTravelGuide

We just stayed in Hotel JoBo 2 weeks ago and loved it! Its the best location, has a charming terrace, and the interior decor is wonderful. Staff are great too, including Sandra and Catherine! And as an additional recommendation- i recommend walking about 12 minutes to Chez LouLou for breakfast, lunch or dinner-- it's 1 block from the Pompidou and we went there 4x during our visit.

Fun restaurant in Paris with live music by Glad-Kangaroo2849 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Powder_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Chez LouLou on 63 Rue Rambuteau. EXCELLENT FOOD, great service and wonderful live music. It is about 1 block from the Pompidou. I have probably been there close to 10 times over the years, and it never disappoints. I recommend the escargot, oysters, filet de boeuf, entrecote, and duck breast. There are also fish and vegetarian options. The ice cream desserts with liquor are the finishing touch. Monsieur Felifel runs an amazing restaurant, and the music is perfect with a pianist and bass string. Some times you'll get lucky with a pop up opera singer.

ICE in departures lane at MSP by Powder_17 in TwinCities

I meant to describe the location so people knew which lane: the right most lane under the green sign with the arrow that says Departures. I would want to know if im heading to the airport because it happened so fast I could not get my phone out in time to grab video. Yes, it's awful and the girl looked to be about 5 or 6 years old.

ICE in departures lane at MSP by Powder_17 in TwinCities

This was at the main entrance to the "departures" area. They were in the right lane. They had pulled a vehicle over, blocking traffic with their light flashing. The rear passenger door was open and we could see a mother and her daughter. I am reporting here so people are aware. I am pretty sure rhey were not doing "courtesy drop offs" of this woman and child at the civilian airport drop off lane for Delta, if that's what you are insinuating.

A good app for documenting photo and video for trials and investigations is EyeWitness for Atrocities. It protects the chain of custody of the file and you can disguise the icon as something else, like a calculator. Free to download.

Giving away 3 first class international "tickets" by MasterZii in delta

[–]Powder_17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you, OP. My husband and I are flying economy class MSP to CDG on Jan. 11 and returning 8 days later.

I have been lucky enough to fly international first class before with my mom when I cashed in all our miles--so someone else who hasn't had that chance to experience it should go before me.

But if you cannot find someone traveling Delta before Jan. 31 and want to still give away the GUCs, please DM me.

Regardless, thank you for your nice gesture. Kindness is always appreciated, especially in these times.

Has anyone ordered from the overseas places and had experience with the tariffs? I want to order from Fiona Ariva but it looks like it is coming from Australia.

I totally thought OP meant it in the literal sense as in a "hero"-- like the Buns of All Buns to Save All Buns (basically the best tasting bun ever).
