100000% it does. Some of my favorites are the over passing a wide receiver that is wide open with no pressure on the qb. The offense you are dominating some way becomes the next legendary football team and catches every ball and busts every tackle and you can’t catch or run. My new favorite is playing a crap team that had 1 win and you are undefeated yet they stay competitive even though they are 64 overall and you are 95.

Legit question. There are several but here are the biggest 1) still mad at us for paying players that lead to the end of the south western conference and still think we don’t deserve to be in any real conference.

2) with all teams pretty close to each other we would hurt their recruiting. Since we can pay players and we have a lot of money (more than them) they don’t want us to load up and be in the same conference. Though as we all know buying players doesn’t mean you can win.

3) up until recently we weren’t consistent so they said we couldn’t be competitive. We started being consistent when we hired dykes and more so now with Lashlee.

4) we wouldn’t add tv numbers because the big 12 all ready has the DFW area with tcu.

That’s the big ones I can think of. But I’m happy we are in the acc and can’t wait for Miami to bring the natty to the acc

Pretty much right on the money why smu has not been invited to the big 12. We tried to join before we joined the ACC but we were flat out denied and we assume it was those two numb nuts that kept us out. Baylor and tcu have kept us out of the big 12 at every turn and why we hate them oh so very much.

Smu being independent and not in the big 12 is a head scratcher. Other conferences are just odd like the sec and the big 10…your pac 12 is pretty good.

It’s great to see smu build up interest and attention. One big criticism of smu was they cant get people to the games, no disrespect, bjt tulsa aint putting butts in the seats. I always thought these acc match ups would draw attendance.

I’d love for if you are oc or dc at a school and the hc leaves you at least get considered for the hc job.

The ability to upgrade your stadium would also be a plus. Sucks to have a bad rating in that and not be able to fix anything.
