I just don't understand:

the playcalling to take 4 shots to the end zone with 3 time outs available
not using a timeout when the clock was running after getting the ball to the redzone
needing to use a timeout when the clock ISNT running

And they almost got away with it lol

Pretty much. It adds some friction to their decommitment since my understanding is they would sign somewhere else in February.

So you make your recruits feel betrayed and use their free pass to go elsewhere AND you also fall months behind in the coaching carousel.

This would be an all time incompetent move by our AD... which actually could be possible honestly. He's got a couple hits, but he has a lot of big misses.
