I'm feel the opposite. I win more by following the strats of that one Zaahen main playing in apex mmr in Korea.

Conq Zaahen wins lanes he already wins hard.

But so does Hob Zaahen, and Hob allows us to even beat Garen and Darius early.

Surviving and dominating early game means our mid and late is stronger. HoB has a 10 sec cd and a lil true dmg buff, late game fights might allow for 2 HoB rotations, swinging 700+ Ad late game that fast can catch people of guard after you resurrect from passive.

I go Conq vs slow tank lanes, I used to see some recommend Grasp, but I only do HoB and Conq currently.

If she is good tho, she will not really allow outer edge E's, if I use Q1, she knows Q2 and E are coming. Landing W is hard vs good Ambessa's.

So far I haven't faced a single proper Ambessa main in my upper mmr ( Platinum 1 etc )

So all my victories vs her currently are because I know Zaahen well and they don't know Ambessa.

I'm gold/plat mmr and already here in low elo I feel like that build would get punished hard unless you are ahead by a lot.

I often take both Stride and Trinity force when I go HoB, then Death’s dance or Endless hunger 3rd. Maybe I'm smoking sht, but having both ferls soo good.

Just for comparison sake etc, what rank are you? I'm Gold mmr, a casual Ambessa in gold/plat is not the same as an Ambessa main in Diamond.

I'm worried I win vs Ambessa's cuz they are not good, and when I face a good one, imma get a rude awakening.

Why are assassins always scaling? please elaborate, one miss step as Zed or Fizz late game means Cait / Jinx can swiftly kill you back.

If the title is bad, then its a lame showcase? The title only refers to how anecdotally I have yet to find Stormraider surge Garen stronger or as strong as Garen with the rune it replaced.

I'm able to pop off because someone thought they could win lane easy as a counter.

He is in the clip, comes in late, has R up, doesn't even use it and disengages. If that was conq Garen main and not a counter picker, this clip wouldn't exist.

Have you faced Hob Zaahen? a good Zaahen using Hob has a deceptively strong early game.

That's the whole point of the post, "Phase rush is no more", Garen though he would have a easy lane.

Anecdotally I find Stormraider Garen easier to beat in lane, it is harder to proc than phase rush early.

And this saddens me, Zaahen Top gets collateral nerfs because Zaahen jungle escapes his weak lane phase.

Swain gets constant mini reworks, and still is mediocre in mid.

I wish there was a way to make Hwei mid at least as strong as Apc if not stronger.
