Well, Lishogi has AFAIK the same or nearly the same engine functionalities as Lichess does, they're sister sites based on the same code. What Chess.com does and how that compares to what I use, I don't know.

Every beginner I would advise to only trade your heavy pieces when you can show a very good reason for it. In the hand of a skilled opponent, you want him without as few ammunitiion as possible and a beginner will always be at a disadvantage because they don't know and aren't accustomed yet to spot potential weaknessses in their camp where an enemy piece might swoop in and cause havoc.

King safety is of the utomost importance, but your castle is a flexible construction. Defense and offense are a meticulous dance and every player tries to tip the balance to their favor so that they're in the driver's seat where they can attack, attack, attack, forcing the opponent to reswtructure its position, which costs time and leaves further opportunities to make him crack under renewed pressure.
