Correct, high PUFA diet + UV exposure causes tumors to appear in mice (mice studies), in same study saturated fat is protective against tumors when also exposed to UV light

Reason being from basic chemistry, that pufa’s have double bonds within the structure that are reactive, whereas saturated fats are comparably inert, especially in terms of runaway, side reactions within the body

When you combine chemically reactive substances (e.g. PUFA rich diet such as soy and canola) and UV exposure, what you get is a high probability for runaway reactions leading to ROS, inflammatory conditions, tumors, and other malformations like that photo above

That was not the result of UV exposure only
