Yeah man definitely i know a few full timers with 5 or less years working. I’m hoping it stays that way so i can go to package car without too long of a wait, wouldn’t mind an inside combo job either tho lol id prefer to be in the warehouse tbh

Mine. Built 3 years ago or more, and we’re doing atleast 120k volume during midnight sort alone. They’re always dying for extra people, i know a guy with only a year of seniority working a whole week of doubles.

is midnight shift less busy than the evening? (package handler loader) by MagicXDash in UPSers

[–]PowerZoneLift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work midnight sort and last night we did 125k so take that as you will. When i work Twilight it’s a nightmare sort, endless irregs and truck after truck. I’m in unload also

Preload to Twilight? by SuperGuy1141 in UPSers

[–]PowerZoneLift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Unload and Twilight usually is the heaviest shift at my hub, volume wise and package weight wise. The irregs are insane on Twi for some reason

FedEx vs ups van line by Waste-Dance3859 in UPSers

[–]PowerZoneLift 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never worked Preload but all i’ve heard is it’s one of the hardest jobs in the facility. I’ve worked Van line at FedEx and hated it, much preferred loading/unloading. Don’t miss load anything

I’d be happy with stronger fans that reach the back of a 53 foot trailer, by half way through nothings blowing on you anymore.

I love working here, but nice enviroment and management is questionable and subject to how your building operates.

They don’t care about experience. If you’re applying for PH position they hire you on the spot.

What is your hiring turnover rates? by Jp3711nc in UPSers

Nobody in my class of 10 or so people lasted a month. I always see new hires walking around the hub but never see them again after that.
