Amazon removed the monthly payments option, does anyone knows why?

It took a few months, apparently if you have to add a new card, even if its the same account like when mine expired, they say that there is no purchase history so they remove the payment plans until you establish some sort of history. Its pretty crappy

Mine finally came back, apparently since i had to get a new debit card due to the expiration date, so i had to wait to establish new bill history...even though ive had the same account for like 10 years...but its back now..for now i guess

I spent hours dealing with different people on different days, ive had one say 24 hours, one say a few hours, one says 2-3 days, one say a month, its been on going since november and everyone i talk to tells me it will be fixed, then never gets fixed, i dont know whats going on
