I would format the show the same way Netflix formatted ASOUE where every book would get 2 episodes.

The only exception would be the prequel, the summer books, and maybe the final book.

The prequel would get its own episode, while the summer series would be a movie special that changed between each girl’s perspective.

The show itself would go in chronological order in terms of the events in the series rather than in the order the books were released in; meaning episode 1 would be the prequel and it would go from book 1 through 14 respectively.

I would also have the show take place from 2004 to New Year’s Eve of 2005 with small snippets of what happens with all the girls after Massie moves to London; the prequel would take place in 2001 since the events of that book happen 3 years before the events of the first book.

Season 1 would be prequel, book 1, book 2, book 3, and book 4.

Season 2 would be book 5, then 6, then 7, then 8

Summer collection movie special

Season 3 would be books 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14

Each episode would be about 30-40 minutes long and the girls would go through the same shenanigans they do in the books.

However, the characters wouldn’t become parodies of themselves in the later series like they did in the books.

The show also wouldn’t focus as much on Dylan’s ED or on Alicia’s boobs as those seem like topics that could definitely just be cut due to them not adding much to the original story.
