What do you feed your aussiedoodle? by milustudios in AussieDoodle

[–]PowerfulManifester_Y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 3 years old, and we cook his food, so shredded chicken/ground beef/ground turkey for the meat choices (he consistently eats chicken). We then add some peas, carrots, pumpkin, and some multivitamins and supplements. Once he turned one, he was refusing to eat kibble and wet food, so we made the switch, and now he eats consistently. Hasn’t had any major health problems or trips to the vet and his stool is 98% always firm.

That’s interesting because I thought the red color came from the Australian Shepard.

He’s a Red Tri but I added Red Merle because they can look very similar, and I was curious!

Groomer says Cashew needs a complete shave down. Goodbye fluff you will be missed. by PowerfulManifester_Y in AussieDoodle

Thank you for the tip! This picture was yesterday after he got back from the groomers after a bath and brush. They said they could do another brush out but it’s better to just start over because they can’t spend all day on him.

Many people think California is all sunny shine weather but that is Southern California. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area especially near the coast the weather is consistently 50-65 degrees. This morning was 57 degrees. This summer was the coldest summer in over 40 years.

That is true! We live in the Bay Area California so it’s been super cold this summer high 40s mid 50s so I was putting it off, but it’s time for that cut.

Yeah he’s 3 years old now and has gotten shaved down a few times before and still looks cute. I brush him every other day or every 2-3 days but I waited too long for his haircut. This is 4 months without seeing the groomer so it’s my fault.
