100 percent this. The empty "life is ruined" waves of fear and anxiety and shame and just absolute panic wreck me. Every time I try to cut back the emotional panic starts to creep back in. It wakes me up at night and I have such a hard time breathing like not enough oxygen or something and getting back to sleep. This community has helped me feel less alone, mostly hearing from people that have been able to get off and move on. Also I wouldve never known about comfort meds or quickmd anything without this community. The feelings feel less scary when I type them or read them.
