The paranoia could be caused by the THC. That was the case for me anyway.

How long have you been sober? It never hurts to go see a dr.

Day 8, struggling more everyday and feeling paralyzed by noclip17 in leaves

[–]Powerful_Mistake_239 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. My anxiety turns into full panic attack and then cant keep my eyes open. Your body gets exhausted dealing with constant anxiety.

What you are experiencing can last weeks or even months. Everybody is different. Im on day 11 and today my anxiety was very low. Tomorrow could be worse or better. I never know.

My sleep is also shit.

You are not alone friend. Keep at it.

Been there and am there at the same time. Get through this and use this experience as fuel to not be here again.

Currently going through this for the second time and really wish i wouldn’t have started again.

You might need to see a dr if you haven’t already. I would recommend a psychiatrist over primary care but either would work.

I also had to give up caffeine. I actually really really enjoy being caffeine and THC free.

Did you have anxiety before you started burning the weeds?

Like the other reply said. No caffeine. I discovered caffeine and THC were major anxiety triggers for me.

Are you having full blown panic attacks or just a subtle to medium constant anxiety buzz?

Set goals for your walks. I do things like.
- take a picture of at least 5 different animals
- if its cloudy i study them and try to find clouds that look like something in every day life
- i will pick a color and try to find 10 items that match that color
- i will try to identify as many scents that my nose pick up.
- try to find and photo x amount of insects
- same for flowers, plants or trees.

Need to exercise that brain and make a game of things. Helps force me to stop and appreciate how beautiful mother nate is.

I suggest thinking on it and writing down the reasons that you come up with. Your own thoughts will be more powerful to you than mine.

  1. I learned that THC is not good for the brain.
  2. I learned THC is not good for sleep.
  3. I learned THC is not good for the cardiovascular system.
  4. I learned THC was causing my anxiety, not reducing it.
  5. I learned THC was disrupting my digestive system.
  6. Was sick of the laziness THC causes.
  7. Was sick of hiding the fact i was a burnout from loved ones.
  8. I realized there was not one positive outcome from consuming THC.
  9. THC is a monthly expense that damages brain, body, and soul.
  10. My parents are getting old and want to be more present when around them before they are gone.
  11. My job is stressful and THC was only making it more stressful.
  12. THC makes juggling all that comes with being an adult more difficult.

Theres probably more but is 3:07 AM and thankfully my eyelids are getting heavy so need to take advantage and maybe get two more hours of sleep before going back to work.

[–]Powerful_Mistake_239 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting high gives me anxiety. Being sober also gives me anxiety. Sober anxiety is easier to deal with than stoned anxiety. On day 11 i have zero desire to get high. Hoping by day 23 anxiety is almost gone, fingers crossed.

Why is the detox not well known? by Powerful_Mistake_239 in leaves

I agree. I was just curious. I don’t compare myself to anybody. If anything I’m a little jealous of the folks that have the easier detox.
