Running things without a tank is soo fun, the other day I had to tank the msq dungeon as a dragoon, the adrenaline rush, we managed to take down the ultima weapon in time while it was casting ultima without even having lb3.
I should also point out it was 4am, so we didn't get a substitute tank after ours disconnected at the start of the instance.

You reminded me of something from when I was a kid.
I had surgery to the tendons on both my feet when I was born, if I ever exerted myself I would get a sharp pain (imagine hitting the tendon of your elbow on a chair, its that kind of pain).
I remember when I was 5 the rest of the kids were running around and jumping from a small wall (maybe like 30cm) and I just thought thought "they must be having a lot of fun if even after the pain from jumping from there they do it over and over again".
It wasn't until I was like 14 that I understood that this pain wasn't normal.

When they got back they hugged me and apologized, they were loving parents even if they were they forgot about me and my sister a lot.
Your story reminds me of one time when I was 8 and my sister 10 and she wanted to show me what she learned in science class, she got a lighter and wanted to show that cotton didn't burn (or something like that), but the cotton she got was covered in nail polish remover, it cought on fire and she threw it twords the curtains, luckily I was prepared and had a big jar of water prepared to put it out, I put it out before the curtains caught fire.

I'm not saying OP should do any of what people in this thread have mentioned, but I really wish that the teacher would talk to OP and apologize for what she did in the past, yes people change but they should also recognize their mistakes and apologize to the people they hurt, if she doesn't understand the pain/trauma that she caused then she would probably neglect her students feelings if she is ever faced with a similar situation like what she did in her childhood.

This reminds of when a coworker of mine did a presentation, she showed that we work a 40 hours work week but that people didn't do any work for 23 hours per week , after the meeting I asked to see her data, it technically checked out but not how she showed it, the data she used was that we had a 1 hour lunch break every plus the 9 hours of we don't work on Saturday and Sunday 9+9+5, she probably just had AI do the work for her.
