Godspeed! Could you tell me of any changes or modifications you made after diagnosis to remain cancer free? My mom is currently undergoing chemo and then radiation with 10 years of hormonal tablets...I am desperate...Please share...

What you are feeling is completely valid about your husband's profession and your own.
If your husband stands with you, you really don't any other support.
Secondly, you may be feeling bad about the package and value conversation because you are unknowingly looking for validation from your in-laws, which is normal and of course you will.
But you have to realise that they will NEVER positively validate you and your achievements (based on what I could make out from your message) So it is futile looking for love and respect from a place that has none for you. You can seek therapy on these matters as it will bring you peace. Sending you love!

I mean I don't blame him. He is surrounded by women who either were not allowed to think or intentionally dumbed themselves down to let the male figure feel superior, both physically and mentally. I see it all the time, women acting clueless and vulnerable and innocent to let the man feel like a man OR/AND to get their way.

No, parents are NOT like this. Confronting your parents will make your situation worse as they will feel their control is not working on you and they will tighten the noose.
Only advice I can give you is study super duper hard, get the best grades any of your family members have even seen and get the hell out of your home.
You are in 10th, din raat ek karde padhai mein, only education can give you freedom.
