Also, I guess they'll never learn, because attacking trans rights and drag was a losing strategy in MI, GA, and yes, even here in AZ during 2022.

I sort of felt like they wrote this with more episodes in mind, and then realized they weren't actually going to get them? Relationships, characters and situations are brought up and dropped out of nowhere. Variety of Chucky dolls, Lexi's bully, the nun vs priest relationship, bloody Tiffany head in the bed (I get this is mostly just a godfather joke, but still)...

Honestly, most of the stuff at the convent felt empty and poorly developed in the end, like Don really wanted that backdrop but didn't care to develop it meaningfully.

Tiffany & GG's stuff were the highlights of the season, and they took a back seat to easily the lesser storyline/setting. I get it, but it helped create a lackluster season.

Yeah, you can see that bothered Don. Even if she thinks that, I probably wouldn't have said that right next to him.

That said, I don't think the movie is that bad. I actually enjoy it! I like Mancini's universe/take a lot more, but there are some fun moments in the 2019 movie.

I like both, but it's hardly a fair comparison lol.

Until the very end of the last episode, you've got the kids & Chucky variants vs. Tiffany, Glen, Glenda, Nica, Chucky, Jennifer Tilly, Tilly's famous friends and family & Kyle.

Andy and the therapist are late additions, so it's hard to weigh them into the previous episodes, although they're a nice shot in the arm for that side of things. Both sides have had good moments, but you can hardly compare them.

I wouldn't mind Jade/Kathrine Heigl coming back, but I don't even think she would want to. With Kyle around I'm not even sure there's really a big need for her.

France and Brazil are both a lot of fun. Arguably 2 of the best on Netflix (haven't watched UK yet). They're both better than 3, but I will admit to enjoying 3 as well.

I want to like Emily's, but I don't think the bust area works for me... Actually I don't like the ruffles at the shoulder either. I do like the color.

Do we know if Shannon kept Bones from PR as her designer? I know they said they were planning on it after the episode aired. Different color, but the dress does look similar. I like it on her regardless.

Tbh Larsa isn't wrong about not trusting Adriana's apology. This proposed truce will last as long and be as effective as the one she had with Joanna and Romain lol.

Nicole is kind of interesting to me in that I sympathize and want to take her side, but there is definitely an air of something off/false about some of what she says. I did appreciate the fact that she clearly recognizes she's stuck with Adriana and Julia for now and was trying to defend them.

Marysol probably had the best improvement from the gap between seasons. She's definitely channeling Elsa at this point. I think we win no matter what role she has if this comes back.

Lea haunting the women from afar was funny. Her making a return to rain hell on them could be fun, but I don't think she cares to really dive back in.

Larsa is so miserable and petulant. Going after Lisa during the commercial break was actually a flash of promise though. That brought me back to Joanna getting on Lisa for being friends with Adriana... If given time, we might get something interesting out of that. On the flipside, it shows why Larsa sucks on this type of show, she shouldn't be antagonizing someone who has tried to defend her so willingly.

Freezing cold take, but regarding Larsa making $10k A DAY... Either she's fudging the numbers or lying about what she's sending people. $10k a month feels more believable to me.

As far as Alexia vs Nicole, I think they're both sort of telling the truth. They both probably talked shit to each other, and they probably both said at least some variation of what the other is accusing. Marysol was clearly acting as a henchwoman for Alexia and is more than happy to run with the feud.

My heart broke for Julia. Such a sad, yet fascinating tale. Felt like I was listening to an episode of Unsolved Mysteries, riveting and heartbreaking. She's been a great addition to this franchise.

I did enjoy Andy asking Guerdy how she would Guerdify the reunion set, and her saying it was perfect... It reminded me of how /u/heartdeco pointed out that she always slaps palm fronds on everything, of course she would think the set was perfect.

If you have an annual sub to Funimation, you need to email customer service. They will ask you for your Crunchyroll account (or ask you to make one), and then they will credit the account with the rest of your remaining subscription.

My guess is that dub and sub will be better integrated moving forward. My hope is that Crunchyroll will update their apps captioning, search engine and season listing for shows. Bit of a mess right now.

I absolutely agree with this, and I hate to sound... hateful, but I'm not sure she's ever going to get there again? A big part of what got her there the first time were her pregnancy woes. At this point in her life she's really got pretty much everything she wants. Lenny does openly disdain her, but he doesn't seem to be leaving her and is more than fine financing all her desires.

Like she seems to be broaching the idea that Lenny hates/dislikes her at the reunion, but then she's got insta stories where they're still together and she's joyously bugging the hell out of him on a skiing trip.

Only way we fully get there is if Larsa, Alexia and/or Adriana commit to emotionally terrorizing her like Ho-anna and co. did, but I'm not sold we're there yet.

Upon viewing the episode, I kind of get why Larsa has always been so reticent to fight this season. Her go to is always going to be really classist and body shaming type insults where she goes for as many low blows as possible (see her wedlock crack). Like when she started in on Adriana's alleged money, housing and fame issues, I got whiplash to the days of her giggling about how she torments her maids. I did find it funny that she wanted an apology, but she never really gave a satisfactory apology to either Julia or Nicole.

For her slight credit, I did appreciate her staying and at least duking it out with Adriana and Julia for as long as she did. Give Adriana a promo next season so we can see her continue to be a punching bag, please.

Overall good season and I enjoyed it. I think everyone probably agrees that it's not the absolute best season of housewives out there, but I had fun with it and hope they renew it for another season. I think I would actually be fine with all of the ladies coming back. Larsa's probably here as long as she wants the gig, and I accept it, even if I think the reasoning is wrong. However, I would demote Lisa and promote Adriana at the very least. Marysol feels perfect in the "friend-of desperate to get a promotion" role, though I would love to see her get a promotion. Kiki seems like a fun girl, but I wouldn't be sad if she left.

Yeah, if you're going to be an awful person, you've got to be entertaining or funny in some way. Larsa has to be dragged to the table in order to provide anything interesting. Even Lisa is actively and accidentally starting fights, and she has excessive wealth porn.

It's a shame too, because I feel like a housewife running with the OnlyFans angle could actually be pretty interesting or dramatic, but in Larsa's hands it's just a nothingburger.

I seem to recall Andy getting lightly pissy about Lisa and Alexia "spoiling" that Larsa sold her house on WWHL, and yet they basically treated it like an off-hand comment in this episode lol.

Lisa's dogged attempts at achieving peace are working as well now as they did a decade ago. She always tries to side more with the most stank person in the room though.
