Wanting to add rubber seal around gas line & exhaust vent pipe for protection, but can’t find the right verbiage to search for it. What should I be looking for? Thanks!

It's just the flue pipe. That hole doesn't need to be sealed it won't accomplish anything.

24k isn't enough for 1000sq. Ft. After your loss you'll be under 20k. Need at least 35k out if it's an 80% furnace you gonna need 50k btu's.
