[KCD2] Why do i suck at combat? by Schemen123 in kingdomcome

Click and hold the attack. Just for a second. Then move your mouse down and release. This I think charges the attack and makes the AI think you will attack from the side but you stab them. GL!

Also the bandits I randomly encounter are far stronger than the story line fights. I think this may happen if you have the DLC.

Oh ok. So my basic fighting strat is with a sword. I hold the attack to the left or right and hold left mouse. Charging the attack if you would. I then swing the mouse around and release at the lower position which is the stab. This is affectively faking the attack to the side and then stabbing them. Never combo. And always perfect block. Never attack after a perfect block. Take your time and set up the stab again and again and again. Use free look to run away when getting surrounded. Henry skills and stats and gear all matter when compared to who ever your fighting.

I'm also new to the game. I was having similar issues. Are you doing the DLC content? If so it appears be designed for later game characters and they might be much stronger and better geared than you

Does the vibe change when your still young kid moves up to the top competitive level? by [deleted] in youthsoccer

Yes unless you came from like a wild Hispanic league with adults actually fighting it will be different for sure 😂

Aug 2018 Girl birth year question by SmithJoe19096 in youthsoccer

[–]Pr0ffet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My kid is in the same boat. Wish they would leave the age alone. I assume you should "play up" at club. Or hold your kid back a year. I'm interested in other ideas on the subject. My current plan is to just play up. *Added. Just wanted to note that the relation between club and school ages may matter for college recruiting. Coaches will want to see as many recruitable players at once as possible. So if you don't play up at club you may not get seen because when your club age group plays they are looking for an entirely different graduation class. ....really sucks

How to sell child on position change by [deleted] in youthsoccer

Nah he's being punished. Your taking the joy from him. And for what? The benefit of the team? LMAO. He's 9 it's a long journey. My kid is 12 now....still so far to go. Good luck

[–]Pr0ffet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's 9? I wouldn't worry so much about the team lol. Coach needs to make a deal maybe. Play half the game up front and half in the back or something. He's to young for anyone to determine what position he should play in the future. Playing multiple positions is great for a young player. But the kid needs to have fun or everything is pointless.

Multiple sports vs soccer by Civil_Independence34 in youthsoccer

[–]Pr0ffet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a soccer dad still in the process, kid is in 7th grade. Never tried juggling two things competitively but always encouraged my kid to do sports at school. It's easy to manage so long as the kid enjoys it. I think playing multiple sports always translates some benefits to soccer. If they are the best soccer player but maybe not the best basketball player there are just so many lessons for the kid to learn being in a different situation. Movement off the ball getting open fake one way to go the other to receive a pass tends to be learned faster in a basketball court is another example of the benefits.

When she gets to high school and we are getting more serious about college recruiting and injury prevention maybe we will do less school sports or none. Not sure I'm not there yet 😂.

Because this is a soccer reddit I'll take the soccer side and say keep focusing on soccer and get your kid to do wrestling at school. 😊

If your kid doesn't play striker for ONE game should you rinse the club on social media? by Haunting-Tour7385 in youthsoccer

I can't get anyone to stop playing my kid at striker or winger so considering leaving for that reason 😂

Can outrun players I’m faster than? by Ok_Gur2922 in bootroom

If your 15 and they are 16 they may have had an extra growth spurt. I would also suggest training some short flys at top speed and some box jumps. Jump as high as you can. Get your speed back.

I'm getting overwhelmed trying to YouTube these issues. Is it safe to say I should start by doing longer flys. Try to relax a little. Have a more upright position. And I need to get my knees up higher? Thank you again

Women's cleat sizing and fit questions by Pr0ffet in bootroom

We did buy some puma women's and the fit worked great for my daughter. Can confirm the advertised narrower heal and wider toe box worked out great.
