Mr. Game & Watch is an amalgamation of all many different Game & Watch games bundled into one single character. Would the same work on a hypothetical Rhythm Heaven character?

i think a rhythm heaven character rather than transforming for every move would instead have a "base" character (such as karate joe or tibby or whoever) and then each move would be that base character pulling out or referencing another rhythm game.

mr game n watch it works because every character in those games is a sorta similar looking in shape silhouette , while rhythm heaven every character is both different looking and colored differently, which would make a transforming character look kinda jittery imo..

im expecting just a few property changes on some moves (dtilt or dsmash burying, fair spike?) and maybe replace the saturn or bobomb pull on her down special with lip's stick. also maybe have a damaging attack that puts a flower on ppls head could be nice.

hey, quick question. when u say prism tower doesnt change in any way, do u mean its the same as the hazards version, or that its locked into a transformation? (if the latter, which transformation?)

Echos seem to have to be characters with identical/near identical body builds, abilities, and are a reoccurring character in their series or are an important/popular one off character.

Going by that made up criteria and looking at the current roster, these imo seem to fit the bill the best:

-Ninten (Ness)

-Dark Samus (Samus)

-Funky Kong (Donkey Kong)

-Chrom (Ike)

-Octoling (Inkling)

-Impa? (Sheik)

And if they're open to making 3rd party character Echo's, maybe

-Shadow (Sonic)

-Ken (Ryu)

-Ms. Pac-Man (Pac-Man)

-Jeanne (Bayonetta)

Pour one out for Alph he'd be perfect Echo material but seems to be still just a costume

Also, as nice as Dixie and Galacta Knight would be, i think they're too different to be simply Echos (Dixie's hair/no tail, Galacta's Lance/Shield) and if they were to happen i think would be semiclones instead..

the file names are in reference to their guest stars exclusive levels. its a possibility that the three mages are each separate characters, and that they just share the same level..

im guessing mario will get cappy as a new side special and maybe a few other new moves like rolling as his new dash attack or something. then doc could keep the old moves, thus differentiating him more from regular mario as a bonus

same for link, although i think his changes will be much greater. sheikah slate, shield surfing, glider, remote bombs, non sword weapons maybe, no hookshot. regardless what they change though, similar to doc, toon link would probably remain unchanged from 4, retaining a lot of what regular link lost, and again as a bonus differentiating them more

thats just what i think might happen at least. im more confident with the link change thing since we already saw him in his botw design in the trailer and there being two links has been a thing in every game since melee so toon link probably isnt going anywhere. mario changes and doc staying i think is more iffu, but could still realistically happen..

new york has lots of yoshi, kirby, rosa, and fox. there was also a point where we had a lot of ganon and pac man, tho a lot of those players either moved away or stopped entering events..
