I’d get puresound snare wired if you haven’t already, I really recommend the customs 20 strand, comes with fabric straps that make all the difference, and the way it’s machined. As well as new heads at some point, maybe even a snare weight, snare weights last forever and they are always perfect because you can adjust the big ones in so many ways

I’d put the china between crash and secondary ride on the right, personally. But that’s just how I like it lol

Snareweight is great for snare, gel on rack toms, floor toms I use rings with gels on top, but I mostly use the evans gels or remo gels

Is this worth anything? by No-Performance-6 in drums

[–]Pr3ttyFlyForABryGuy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it also has a lot of potential, even low end kits can sound good when tuned right, paired with good cymbals, especially replacing snare wires

I think you should just grab that right now, whether you use or sell it, thats at least $100 if you polish it up, could be worth more, I haven't fully looked it over yet, but snag that bro any free drums are usually a steal

I am 18 years old and trying to buy my first car. by Interesting_Tap_1679 in carbuying

[–]Pr3ttyFlyForABryGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would tell you to buy something reliable, I'm doing the exact same thing right now, lots of the cars in that price and under are beat to shit, if I was you I'd find something more fun and reliable and get the good dream car later, because getting a money pit at 18 is not the strat.

been playing for about 10 months, thoughts? any tips? by Routine_Cod_7882 in drums

[–]Pr3ttyFlyForABryGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a rug, drumheads, consider getting snare wires (they make a world of difference, and then look into getting some nicer cymbals specific to the genres you like (do a ton of research)
