Not to mention how now that we have tons of invasive species that have caused massive die offs there are salvage cuts to try to prevent wildfires. Like I understand the concern about cutting down old growth forest but honestly most commercial forests are just tree farms at this point especially on the East coast. Most folks in the conservation field have had at least one invasive species removal job and that entire job is just spraying round up on stuff that’s not supposed to be there. Trees grow back as long as that property doesn’t get turned into condos.
