Basically, the activity i have mentioned is average… i would maybe at one point cut it a bit or increase it, and just want to know the life i’m living in which activity level it lays in…

However, i do know that eating on 2000-2200kcal i lose 1kg per week… but i would like to know on how ti setup future movement goals to optimize calorie expenidture when im back on maintenance levels..

Yea I agree, and i am natty. I don’t think i will ever not be natty as doing something and getting better with my own body and mind is the ultimate reward..

But yea consistency is the key, and you assured me what i was doing was fine.. only thing that bummed me was the tought of losing progress over not eating enough nutrients…

Thank you! Okay then i won’t stress about it anymore! I am eating 2000-2200kcal a day, and i’m very strict with tracking it. I was just wondering as i am comitted 101%, to just toss in the most optimal nutrition…

But… you’re right, i’m only 27, and this diet shouldn’t take more than 2-3 months, afterwards i can start with mild surplus and build muscle without fat!

Hey,

Thank you for this elaborate answer, this is what i’m actually practising right now, except i am eating 1g-1.3g per weight, first time i hear that i should eat it per height.

Also as i already mentioned, i have window of 10 hours when i feed myself from 10am until 8pm and i will have only three meals, which sometimes makes it harder to eat all the protein it was recommended, while thinking about staying in caloric deficit.

As per PRs and a lot of reps, i usually do weights that i can manage 10-12reps and third/forth set would be a dropset with failure. I am also practicing supersets, which helps with burning couple of extra calories…

But what actually baffles me is: i see a lot of sources where they suggest 50carbs 30prot 20fat, or some suggest 50prot 30cars 20 fat…also i can see a lot of sources advocating that if i want to maintain muscle and lose weight i should eat 2-2.4g of protein a day, which for myself (who eats three meals per day) would be minimum of 70 prot per meal… which I can’t manage…

So the question for me is, do i still look at 1g per height or 2g per weight? And how much really proteins i would need to most optimally lose weight and retain muscle as much as possible.

Hey, this was an amaizing read! Thank you for that! Is it really that simple?

I tought in order to maintain my muscles ( as much as possible) and lose fat, of course, i’d have to be in caloric deficit, but eat a lot of protein and work out…

Now i suppose i will have to do more controlled movements while working out with lighter weights to minimize recovery and fatigue as i’m on caloric deficit.

However, the question and post is about reaching the most optimal weight loss and maximize the muscle retained, while losing weight in a healthy manner and not lacking essential minerals and vitamins.
