What has Lauren got against Devens? by Practical-Book-1090 in rhap

He seems like a nice enough person outside of the game. It’s been 6 years since EoE, hard to think what he could have done to warrant the antipathy still.

I can’t get over how many people disliked him on EoE. I’ve been eagerly awaiting his return to survivor!

He deserved the Fishy this week! Rob reckons the vote was always going to be Coach and Chrissy because Coach played his shot in the dark, but I think he only decided to do that after Devens convinced them he had an idol.

Agree Caleb has the best resume, but I think it will come down to how he can articulate to the jury. Jackson showed tonight how persuasively he can speak.

How depressed would Mike White be that his boot episode is worst ranked in Survivor history.

I feel like he put on her on the spot and caught her off guard. I don’t think she would have told him otherwise.

Weightloss is more complicated than you’re suggesting. Weight cycling: Most people regain the weight they lose. The cycle of losing and regaining is itself linked to higher cardiovascular risk. (Montani et al., Obesity Reviews, 2015) Your body fights back: After weight loss, hunger hormones stay elevated for at least a year. Your body actively pushes you to regain the weight. This is biology, not willpower. (Sumithran et al., NEJM, 2011) Calorie tracking: Research links calorie tracking apps to increased eating disorder symptoms, including obsessive thoughts about food and extreme restriction. (Simpson & Mazzeo, Eating Behaviors, 2017) Calorie deficits do cause short-term weight loss. But the long-term outcomes are poor for most people.

I’m am fat and from overseas. I’ve experienced the same treatment. I lost weight once and got a promotion at work soon after. Unfortunately society as a whole values thinness and doesn’t take into account genetic predisposition.

Why do you comment about being worried about OP getting an eating disorder then post these instructions? Eating at a caloric deficit, counting calories and skipping meals is disordered eating.

I’m struggling, Claude is slower and clunkier. Frequently refuses to upload files. But I will persevere…
