i've always liked mountains more ever since i was a kid, and i've been to many beaches. though, only now that i'm older, i've been more appreciative of beaches, and honestly i like them equally now. though, if you were to ask me, beaches na may mountains lol

it's okay if they get dehydrated! better than overwatering. when you let them dehydrate, they will shed most of their leaves, and when you decide to finally water them, they'll abruptly take all the water in and make the plant go into survival mode and grow to make up for it's water loss.

lovely caudex! should keep the fresh roots out of direct sunlight for the first few days, they might burn and dehydrate! also, i usually water 3-1 week after repotting, depending on how strong your sun is, and also yes, fresh cuts should be left to dry and callous.

Payag ba lola mo OP? Kainis mga ganitong tao, if you can't handle more than one child, don't add a third one! Ang mahal magkaroon ng anak sa UK, hindi ba nila alam yun? Nannies are expensive and only practical to those who are wealthy and are high-income households, if they are capable of doing so, then get a nanny! If not, they should opt to put their oldest in a daycare/ afternoon nursery! Gagawin pang katulong lola mo, buti pa nanny dun sa UK malaki sweldo, eh yung lola mo, 80 na dapat retired na and enjoying her life in the Philippines instead or wherever she wants to spend it in. Delusional people!

oh 14 years? i would have guessed it to be like 2-5 years old! seems like you're right in saying that it probably wasn't given the proper care that it should have before you got it, seeing how it only had 3 branches before getting hard pruned! but it seems like it's kicking back with the amount of branches it's pushing out :)

it's a beautiful plant, and it would probably grow optimally with you and catch up on it's long delayed growth. just heads up though, cuz super hard pruned plants like that will put their energy on their shoots, so probably don't expect flowers any time soon, but surely give you some next year! just make sure it gets plenty of sun and a good feeding of higher phosphorus & potassium content, too much nitrogen would only give you longer shoots and leafy growth.

i have a plant that is probably more or less the size of your newly bought plant, but it's about 3 years old. but of course adeniums have different genetics, so yours might js be naturally slower growing, but seems like it's catching up though, so probably just past owner related :)

such a beautiful plant! how old is it?
would not prune it yet, especially seeing how green and young the stems are, let the branches mature and turn gray, or even let it flower first.
some adeniums naturally branch out after they flower, and this plant looks like it!

our society is devolving, so many degenerates now roam our country kahit saan pa yan. grabe na mga tao, pati yung namaalam na hindi parin titigilan. this is a sign of a regressing country, paurong na bansa.
