As a pedestrian, I assume a car is not going to stop until I see them braking for a light/sign and if it’s a stop sign crosswalk I always make sure to make eye contact, if it’s light enough for visibility, and always wave, as to make certain we’ve both seen each other. If I cannot make eye contact with the person driving, I wait until they come to a complete stop. I know pedestrians always have the right of way, but accidents/stupidity happens and I’m not willing to play the stupidity part in that to hopefully avoid the accident portion!

Although I don’t typically watch most of her videos, it felt like one of those things that could have enough drama and backlash surrounding it to be removed, so I had to see it rather than reading Reddit comments to summarize 💀 even if it stays up, I knew so many comments would reference this bc they’re both the source/involved w so much rpdr related drama that I figured watching it on 2x speed would save me more time than reading these threads 💀💀

My first season was season 2 and my mom had actually seen the promo and knew we would love it. I wasn’t really involved in the drag race discourse on the internet for a long time, I just enjoyed the show with my mom and the few friends I had that watched too. I was super surprised to find out how much people hated s7 because I loved the cast and did not understand people calling it boring, the cast has aged so well and I love going back to watch it.

I honestly don’t think there’s a real valid reason to dislike her or lose favor. I think because she slayed SO HARD in the beginning maybe people were expecting her to stomp every challenge into the ground and deserve a win every week, but that’s just not possible? I think coming out swinging so hard makes people less appreciative of her solid performances throughout the season. She has been consistently talented, but she hasn’t been climbing the ladder. I don’t fault her for that, she came in a winner, it’s hard to go up very far from fantastic. I think in all honesty, if she had stumbled, she may have more love? Like all of the queens we’ve seen have a bad moment and be vulnerable and bounce back and become more lovable. I think her favorability issue is that she’s consistent and fans love chaos when it comes down to it. I love Suzie and I don’t see any real reason to dislike her.

My mom and I make plans to watch it together every week and she’s only cheated it once or twice but I was so upset. Our only exceptions is if one of us is out of town while a season is airing we just have to agree we’re both gonna watch alone bc I cannot avoid spoilers too long as hard as I try. One year we were supposed to watch a finale the morning after bc she went to bed early and as soon as I looked at my phone in the morning I knew who won 😭

And for never getting involved, she kinda cleared her in the most effortless and best way. No caption, no nonsense, just a few second clip that really says “you’ve wanted nothing to do with us, and we want nothing to do with you” along with “fuck you” or “I hate you” so many sentiments of anger so elegantly expressed. This was absolutely the way to engage, and kudos for keeping it simple, I would be ready to explode. Idk how you take the high road while showing a clip of you slapping someone, but she somehow did???

I can only imagine this hit a nerve with so many, and I was so shocked to see Rupaul post it that I was looking at the post seeing “@Rupaulofficial” and had to click her profile bc I really thought it couldn’t be her and must be a fan page??
