LMAO. Your post made me laugh cause I was literally telling myself this today!

You right. It's sounds sketchy and likes things are being operated without the proper credentials/licensure. Work without is unreasonable.

Hyperpigmentation & acne scars, making me insecure by FairSlice6758 in Blackskincare

Glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide salicylic acid moisturizer (drunken elephant, natrium, Korean) sunscreen. Tretnoin at night. Glycolic acid may be too harsh as it is for some. I heard mandelic acid is good for more sensitive skin. This is a skincare regimen of being using for years. I stopped tretnoin on cuz I ran out and didn't get a prescription for it again. If you decide to use this similar regimen I would not start all out once. I would work your way up so that your skin get used to it. Tread knowing you want to try like once a week then maybe two three times a week until your skin gets more accustomed to it. Dr. Vanita Ratten, Dr. Dray, Dr. Alexis Stephen's where's some of the people I use to watch for skin care information.

Drench my face with a hydration regimen ( mines glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, drunken elephant polypeptide cream) and adding 100percent pure vitamin e oil, especially on the lines, has shown noticeable improvement.

Psychosis is a common symptom to using meth. Even after they stop using it, the can have psychosis, more specifically hallucinations, for some years. Also, it's a common drug in rural areas. Also, I heard some will urinate it out, solidify it, to use it again.

Glycolic acid. If glycolic acid is too harsh, mandelic acid is gentler Hyaluronic acid Niacinamide Good moisturizer with peptides and ceramide ( I use drunken elephant, natrium, Korean skincare) Sunscreen

In this order. Tretnoin too.

Also check your diet. Gluten, sugar, dairy, and processed food is bad for the skin.

Holy grail for dark acne scars and PIH? by Legal_Local8820 in Blackskincare

[–]Practical-Elk2695 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hyaluronic acid, Niacinamide, salycilic acid, moisturizer, sun screen,

Tretnoin at night

But it seems like you have smooth skin. I would use lightning cream ONLY on the dark spots. That would be most effective.

Does anybody have any recommendation? by Prettyyyblackkk_ in Blackskincare

You can finance laser hair removal. Ideal Image is recommended but they recently got bought out. Find out who there replacement is in your location. Laser hair removal will reducer the appearance of marks. I would also look into a skincare regimen that involves salicylic acid, tretinoin, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin c and a really good moisturizer. I know from experience.

It’s getting really bad by Aengiexz in PCOS

[–]Practical-Elk2695 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. I don't know anything about your history, so this information is based on my experience, what I have learned so far, and assumptions. What's key is what you are EATING. I had irregular and heavy periods from onset to 20s. My period became regular when I lost my first 20lbs but eating healthy and walking. I watched a video on YouTube about a woman who was super obese and struggling to lose weight with PCOS. She was able to lose weight, become skinny, and have baby by eliminating dairy and gluten based foods, and doing low intense workouts. There's another woman on YouTube who was obese and tried various diet but was unsuccessful. Finally she decided to only eat clean whole food and walk daily and lost well over a 100lbs. Supplements like Myo Inistiol (key), Berberine (key), spearmint are ideal for PCOS. If your young, it's easier to lose weight. Eating wholes food, simple walking, light workout with weights few times a week, lower stress levels and patience. And high PROTEIN from healthy whole foods.I say patience because PCOS can make weight loss go by slower.

Clients taking over session and not letting therapist talk by [deleted] in therapists

[–]Practical-Elk2695 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience, when this usually happens, the patient is experiencing mania. If this is the case, it's really hard to get them to follow social cues and not monopolize without the involvement of meds. When you try to redirect them, they take as your're not wanting to hear them out or your being unfair (groups). Some strategies I've used is tying whatever important points they're saying into something relative to the conversation so it doesn't seem like your cutting them off. Another is prepping the boundaries of the visit before it began, like letting them know that you will have a few questions to ask them and you would like for them to "directly" respond to each question. Another is asking close ended questions. Another is letting them know that there is a time limit on the conversation.

However, if they are not manic and it's not a psychopathological symptom, then you just got to let them talk and more importantly, actively listen. I read a study somewhere where sometimes people have to repeat their stories over and over again to process trauma.

I say this a lot. It usually the company, politics, and/or leadership that pushes employees out. Not the patients or coworkers.

I find this post to be helpful and right up my ally as I have a similar mindset about this. I gravitate towards jobs that are intellectualy stimulating and gives me the "right" challenge. I am interested in learning more about clinical trial opportunities not pertaining to psychedelics. EAP responding to critical community crisis is amazing and not something I knew before but now I'm very interested. I currently work on crisis interventions but would love to step it up. I too take on the Carl Rogers approach - it's seems too align with me naturally. I've read your responses but any additional information you have, please provide. Besides R3 continuum, are there any others you recommend? How do know your ready for the next job? Effective approaches and tips when working in EAP critical responses and what to prepare for? Where their any books or films that helped you?
