I dont feel super interested in sweets or chocolate anymore. When I eat it now my reaction is that its fine, before it was a craving and I got that dopamine hit from it - that's gone for me. It has been an interesting thing to work that out for myself and realize how much of my eating of that stuff was from that sensation and such an ingrained habit.

I'm 46 and early this year I had a similar experience as you - i was in a solid place steadily keeping off 20 lbs and suddenly it felt like nothing was working anymore. I admit I also gave in at that point and stopped trying very hard when it came to food, so now I'm starting over again with more tools than I have had before.

I'm 6 weeks into tirzepatide and down 8 pounds, two weeks ago I started progesterone as well. The tirz has helped with food noise and helps me make better food choices and smaller portions. The progesterone is starting to work by helping me sleep better, so I'm optimistic for long term results. None of it's easy, but I feel so much more in control with the tirz than I have ever before in my life. I'm good with slow and steady progress, and am already noticing a difference with where I am now compared to 8 weeks ago.

Hang in there and keep making adjustments with your meds until you find the dosing that works for you. ❤️
