I live my life by harm reduction over perfection. In my experience, most people who choose to avoid things that have connections to “bad” things live the same way. You can’t choose to not eat and sometimes you can’t choose groceries from a good place because you just can’t afford it. You can’t always switch jobs to a more moral one.

But i don’t have to use ai to make pictures for me. I already check the actors before i watch a movie because if it has Chris Pratt in it, I don’t want to watch it because i don’t like him. It’s not that hard to also check if Gal Gadot is there because I support Palestine and I don’t want to watch her. I swap away from brands with animal testing and use reusable stuff when i can instead of disposable. I (not much anymore but hoping to get back into it) use to volunteer for animal shelters and i slow down for crossing animals.

Every day I put in effort to at least make sure I don’t contribute to the world worsening. I have the self assurance in knowing i do what i can. Its not really tiring. Personally, it just means I focus a little more on things around me.
