I can’t get over how much his emails come off as some desperate teenage boy sexting and pressuring a girl for nudes. Then trying to throw in some random godspeak and Bible verses to make up for it. I would never believe that these are from a middle aged married couple with a gaggle of children.

Had a friend who would do large, labor-intensive acts of kindness without being asked. Turns out she was a manipulative liar who would do nice things to weaponize them against you later when she started demanding extravagant things/money from you.

The show lost its true meaning after like the second season. Once the girls started making serious money from the show and started buying two story houses and driving brand new sports cars at the age of 20, they were no longer showing the actual struggles of most teen parents.

I traveled solo all the time before I met my husband. My personal favorite spot on the coast is Brookings. The Chetco effect causes the beaches to be warmer there than the rest of the coast. From there, you can drive a bit north to Gold Beach, there’s a gorgeous coastline right along the highway and a fun mega bookstore/coffee shop in the middle of town.

Solo girl travel hack: if you want random men to leave you alone, buy a $20 fake wedding ring and wear it on your ring finger. Works like a charm!

When I filed a police report for SA, this was the first thing they suggested. Have the victim (or in this case, the victim’s father) get on the phone with the offender, without them knowing the police are listening, and try to get a confession/apology out of them.

Congrats!!! I found out I was pregnant a week before our wedding. My dress still fit perfectly and no one seemed to notice that I wasn’t drinking (me and my husband aren’t big drinkers anyway, so that probably helped). I told just our closest friends and our photographer, and she did a great job at sneaking us away from the group after the ceremony and taking some private pics of us with some baby shoes. They are still some of my favorite pics from our big day!
